My pro has a serious beef with Anaheim. They drafted me, I won them 3 cups. when my ELC ended they wouldn’t resign me. I signed with Boston and won the cup 2 more times and beat Anaheim in both runs for it😭😂

Well, NHL can’t do a MyCareer like 2K does because they simply don’t have the same budget to make the game. Basketball makes a lot more money than hockey. However, there’s no excuse for the lack of effort on the mode. We shouldn’t be expecting 2K levels of career mode but we should definitely have something better by now

So dumb since there are a lot of be a pro series out there that they don't give you more teams. If you're a top player even when I get to 85 overall and above usually with those top players in franchise mode you see 8 teams making offers. No max deals either it kind of sucks.

Thats a different thing entirely though. By choosing your team, you don’t get to go through the draft, you don’t get to play Junior hockey and you start at a lower overall rating.

The game makes a ridiculous amount of backup files for some reason. Turning off autosave might help but eventually it’ll stop making backup files.

Been doing this shit for years...with the exception of the last 2 years because BAP teammate AI is crazy horrible and shot aim is camera relative which makes it virtually unplayable.

You can change your shot aim to not be camera relative in the settings.

Dude, I've tried that. I play on the high camera angle, been using since BAP came out. For the past few years, shot aim has been camera relative regardless of the setting. I've had it at Always Up and it's still messed up.

Jeff DeVito hmmm thats really weird, I’ve never had that problem with this game. Is your left stick still at peak performance? I had that with an old controller, it would randomly move to wherever it wanted if I pointed the left stick to the 3 o’clock position. Perhaps thats why your shot is off. You can verify your left stick with the color wheel in any creation mode. Just rotate it very slowly around the entire circle. If the color wheel spazzes at certain points, its probably your controller. Thats all I got to help other than the standard reinstalling :/

Got a new controller a few months ago, problem is still there. I use the replay to verify where I'm aiming and where the shot is going. I'm pretty sure it's because the shot aim is camera relative regardless of the setting. For example, I'm a righty, if I'm cutting in from the half wall on my forehand and want to shoot high glove, aiming top right goes bottom right. Aiming top left goes top right or usually right at the goalies head or over it. It sucks because it's unnatural and takes away a lot of control.

how does it work with UFA's in Be a Pro? Here you're an RFA since your character is 21, so I'd expect there not to be offers from anyone other than your own team

Free agency works the same all the time no matter your age. EA doesn’t have RFA rules in be a pro. I assume this is on purpose so players aren’t stuck on a team they don’t wanna play for. But had my character been 30 in this video, the same thing would’ve happened

You gotta be one of the top ovr ratings on your team, probably THE top ovr rating, I’ve never had it otherwise. You also have to be a few years into your career. Its possible, I’ve done it in 19

Become basically the best player, and just stick with the team for an eternity at this point, it used to be easy when they had those dumb ass pop-ups where you answer questions and it effects how the team and shit feels about you, because you'd actually get long term deals. But if you become captian now and your contract runs out after the 2 years. Even if you re-sign they strip you of it and set you back to an Alternate for whatever reason

Basically be the top ovr, be an alternate captain, and the old captain has to leave. My guy became the captain of Nashville on his 5th year there.
