I think a big part of G2's recent success is their confidence in every play. They go for almost every retake when other teams would save and play the percentages. Teams have to expect this now, it don't matter if it's a 2v4 retake, you better be ready cause G2 are coming for it.

11:46 is a huge impact from hooxi. That round was a pure mistake by the team (they tried to retake b 4v0 even tho bomb was a and they almost lose it) and it could have impacted the team's mentality if they had lose it and even tho they won the round eventually , it was ugly. THE LORD just laughed it off and took the blame on himself and encouraged his teammates by telling they threw good flashes and played good. You need a guy like that on your team to boost the confidence, boost the moral of the team always and thats why hooxi is so important at this team.
