If you watch LCK finals you'll see that G2 is far more scrappy and can't execute a clean plan. HLE and GenG both just know how to attempt whatever teamfight their going into and it's so much cleaner. I think G2 is going to be similar to NA and just a tier or 2 below the eastern teams again.

I like when there’s more underdog stories at worlds instead of the same two regions on repeat. I’m that way about sports too- always fun to see different teams step up.

@@hipposrus Yeah I loved in when G2 were doing well. I don't understand how G2 don't really seem to have improved. Watch LCK and they have comps like Vi, ziggs and yone. The plan is Vi ults a target, ziggs and yone both ult the same target. It's so clean and so easy. But G2 is so scrappy. It's like they don't have a decent engager and they just start a messy fight and either go ahead or behind, but eventually they'll do better and pull out a lead. Why haven't they gotten better? It's been like 3 years of this roster.

@@timbradshaw5481 I think it’s because they shifted their game plan to a different style of play, I can’t speak much more on it because I’m not a pro or even good at the game so I’m not claiming to know that but I know they focused a lot on late game and you CAN see the improvement in that area, otherwise how do you win games from massive gold deficits. I will say however there’s no chance that works with HLE or GenG- (I did catch the highlights from the finals and fell in love with the HLE gameplan and how their support played was amazing to watch)
