Hi there is ther any chance you still have your notes or know of a website that has a wright up on it i have 09 300 with a 4.7 that im wanting to transplant in to a 57 buick for my wife. Iv done a few ls harness and have HP tuners but I'm new to the Hemi stuff

Sorry, too busy with other stuff. If you want to get up and running quickly, just buy a brand new harness from Chris at hotwire. You will be running in less than a week after receiving it then you can move onto the other things like the exhaust and tuning it.

Junk yard? In my recent video, I found 3 chargers with hemis still in them with full wiring harnesses that I cut out. Engine harness with the c100 and the wiring cut at the fuse box and firewall was $38.

I never did that to know if it works. Sounds like you need to contact Russel Drake at Sound German Auto. He might be able to answer your question. As far as monitoring. I use an ELM327 from Ebay for less that $10 and an Android table or phone running the TORQUE app to see my GPS speed, Tach Temp, O2 sensors,

I think you can. My little harness works on both my 5.7 and 6.1 so many of the 6.1 years up to 2010 used the same pins. The 5.7s added VVT in 2009 so there would be some extra pins but your 6.1 won’t care.

Hi there. I've watchd your video and I've had a look at hotwire auto harnesses and diy hemi. I have downloaded Blake's wiring diagram and a few pins appear to be different to my pinouts. My doner motor/loom ect os from a 06 chrysler 300c. Would you happen to have a link or a copy of your pinout diagram that you use to simplify your looms for retro fit. Cheers in advance

@ShelbyDogg a couple in my black plug don't have wires in them. I'm not sure if that matters or it was just an option for the different vehicles those plugs were in. I've tryd to trace half the loom but unfortunately I'm at a dead end as the obd2 plug wires head in a couple directions and I'm not sure where they go after they go into the front control module. Would you be all good to email me your print out of your pinout diagrams?

@@robbyjames2777 My harness had the number 4801437AB. When I google it, I get 2006 Chry 5.7 engine wire harness. All I can tell you.

I just started my own swap! 2006 durango hemi into my audi a4. My question is how do you control the fuel pressure?

2 of mine use this regulator from EBay hooked directly to the back of the 2nd fuel rail to the return line back to the tank. You can also use a corvette fuel filter with the built in regulator mounted by the tank to run just 1 line to the engine if you use the factory fuel rails with the crossover line. I can’t attach the picture but you can see the regulator in my other video with the EZ-EFI on the 5.7 At the 12:54 minute mark. I am playing with the idea of putting a 6.1 from a 2010 into my 08 R/T charger. I think the 6.1 will be out of a challenger. Would you know if I use the challenger ECU, is it worth the effort?

Yes, I think you can use either one. Try your 5.7 ECU first. Security and VIN is already set up for your car. Get a HP Tuners device and compare both fuel maps. The first thing you get to change, when you open up the ECU file is the engine size either 5.7 or 6.1. If you have your own HP tuners device you won’t have to pay somebody to do your tuning and DIYHEMI shows how to remove the security yourself, on the 6.1 ECU. You can pull up the 6.1 map and send it to your 5.7 ECU if there are a lot of changes.

My Cuda is using a 2010 pcm and 5.7. It is a Hotwire harness that I put in 5 years ago after my Hemi-6 video. I have all of the pin outs. What are you asking? I’m at work, will answer later.

@@shelbydogg I have power to coils, injectors and all the grounds hooked up. I have the switched ASD relay,fuel pump relay hooked up. New fuel pump . But it will not fire . It's like the control grounds from ecu has no out puts

Ask DIYHemi, they tested a 4.7 ECU on a Hemi and said it ran. But I myself don’t know.

Since you have a 2010 engine did you delete the wires for the vvt ?

The 2010 5.7 that I have in my Cuda, I’m using with a new Hotwire harness that has the VVT and MDS connectors and wires. This way I can enable them both in the tune if I want to experiment with more MPG. But I haven’t done it yet because I haven’t done the PO1 timing chain and tensioner recall kit, since the MDS can break the chain or tensioner.

I did check the Hotwire tune and VVT and MDS were both disabled for the 30,000 miles I’ve driven so far.

After 05 they had a security system called SKIM, that only allows it to run for 5 seconds if not removed. You can send the PCM out to have it cleared or buy a computer that has it removed and programmed for stand-alone use.

I already like and subscribe I was wondering if you could help me they stole my rear fuse box to my 06 SRT charger and I replaced it with a rt fuse box but all the wire matched but there is 1 wire missing a pink n tan or red tan wire that is coming from my car to the box the fuse box didn't have it and when I connect it to the fuse 28 it ruse all right but when I connect it to fuse 29 the car stays on when key is turned off can u help me I can give u more info if needed please help I dnt what this to be connected to something it not suppose to be thank you greatly appreciate it

If you are just getting into engine swapping - new hemi, do it the easy way. Call Chris at Hotwireauto.com and order everything you need. He makes new harnesses with or without a PCM. You hook up a few wires and start driving. No headaches repinning or trying to read diagrams. Pay and drive. I have driven over 22,000 miles with the first harness and ECU from him and just got back from another 1500 mile trip in my 5.7 Cuda over the weekend.
