What brand of outboard are you using? It looks like a scale outboard with a gear drive, or is it a flex shaft? Will it handle 4s? I'm surprised you didn't use a long tail outboard like a Lawless clone or O.S. clone which has a lot of adjustability and can handle lots of power. Just curios. Very nice custom cowl by the way!

Thank you. It's a Scale Seven outboard from OSE. Gears and bearings in the lower end. Going to run the motor recommended for this hull on 4s. A 3660, 2050kv. I built the cowling to fit that motor. I really wanted the scale look...

I was going to mention in an earlier video where I got mine, then I forgot to say it. Get a bifold closet door, unscrew one section, use that. The faces are luan plywood, soft enough to push in hold down pins. The inside is supported with zig-zag patterned corrugated cardboard on edge. It has wood edges glued in around the outside. I cut mine shorter, carved out enough cardboard to glue the one end edge back in. These are very flat and stable...
