Moncef’s a busy man, and remote tuning process is very tedious. Takes way more time doing the whole tuning process virtually, especially with hundreds of customers at the same time. Be patient, and hopefully he will toss the sauce :P I get the eagerness, but it will pay off. Let me know how it goes!!

Hey, can you guide me thru your tuning process? I don't have any tuners where I live

Sure thing! 1) find a tuner willing to tune remotely (SpecialtyZ, Admin, Z1 etc.) 2) pay for the uprev tune package right for your vehicle. 3) email or contact the tuner with the order number as well as a list of the mods you have equipped onto your vehicle. 4) once the tuner responds, be sure to install uprev onto your computer, and send datalogs to your tuner as prompted. 5) whenever the tuner sends you back a tune, upload and overwrite the existing flash on your vehicle, through the uprev software. 6) you should get the swing of things at this point! My video here shows you how it works :)

So when data logging so I record non stop or only of the specific parts. Like for example, data log idle stop, stay log 3rd gear pulls stop, etc etc.

Thanks for your question! Yes I did individual logs for each type of steps my tuner required me to log. Idle, one log. Driving normally, one log. Moderate acceleration, another log. Etc etc. Make sure to name them and including time you logged so you don’t duplicate logs or send incorrect logs to the tuner.

WookieDrake thanks for your comment! My car has 289,000kms - I only had this car for under a year, and decided to do all these mods. I got a video talking about the mods on my channel, but its Full Bolt Ons and some extras. I’d say go for it!

So I’m getting admin e-tuned soon, did you drive the car in between the whole process? I daily drive my g so I was wondering if I could still daily it even if I’m in the process of it being tuned

Alvaro Hernandez great question! I suggest to have it driven less since it’s not fully tuned. But as long as you received your baseline tune, you’re safe. Just don’t drive it hard and all.

Thank you for the comment! Im in canada. We have pretty poor quality fuels around where I live. Thus, my tuner recommended me to go with an octane with no ethanol and better quality. Of course my Instance is different from anyone else’s. FBO and 91 is a good route. If you’re interested in e85, why not, but I don’t think it makes a drastic difference for my setup. If it was a built Motor, bigger fuel system, and maybe even F/I, then yes, try different fuels. But for bolt ons, don’t stress over it

Thanks for your question! With a high mileage Revup DE I made 288whp. I can picture getting maybe 290whp if it weren’t for the wear and tear on the engine. However, the mods I had was all I could squeeze out of the car running it as N/A. However, forced induction kits, or e85/fuel system upgrades, and even top end work (cams) could assist significantly!

Well if it’s back ordered it could take days-weeks-months, unfortunately it’s common now with everything going on.. it took me 3 months to get everything. But well worth the wait truth be told! Hope you’re excited!

@@eman_vq8036 great question! Unfortunately, the tuner software will not tell you how much power your car makes. That’s for the Dyno to tell you! Since I got tuned remotely I don’t know how much power it was making until I went to a local dyno. We made 288whp, it should be in my videos somewhere! Great questions - 1) you need the cable if you want to retune or datalog. Remember the uprev software you install is tied into your car’s ECU. Always good to have the cable on the side if you decide to change anything or revert back to stock etc. 2) I’m not selling my cable, I plan on using it. Thanks!

Maagneticc avoid oil leaks, and oil burning g’s. If it burns oil, invest in a vented catchcan, and maybe oil cooler. Check and see if the guy’s changed the timing chain at all if its really high mileage. Check for clean oil too - higher mileage vq’s appreciate frequent oil changes. Also check the underbody for rust. If it’s rotted, run away

HyperBiker 2003 & 2004 g35/350z have narrow band sensor you need a wideband sensor 2005+ has it already. To get one installed is a pain in the ass wiring and drilling o2 sensor in to y pipe. Its a mess smh. Btw you did you like the intake? Did it run okay without the tune for a bit?

tom mike oh! Wow, interesting. Didn’t know that - that definitely sounds annoying. The intake is insane - big difference for sure - but needs a tune after installing it, especially with everything i did with the car. The idle’s completely off and it will have issues running properly
