I know people like to muffler delete, but there is honestly no point unless you have a force inducted car. Even then, you can get a resonator+Muffler to at least have your car not sound like a lawnmower. You want to delete the CAT? Fine, but if you put headers on that car, without a resonator and muffler, it's going to sound like shit. I do not understand why people do this to their car unless they have forced induction. I bought the very big, ultra quiet resonator on Summit Racing (I have an 07 Tiburon, GT V6 Supercharged NGM Stage 2), and the sound is awesome. I highly recommend that resonator. I also don't know what they coat the Resonators with, but I have had it for a year, and there is zero rust on it.

I have a g35 as well. 1320 test pipes, Y pipe and single exit. I’m thinking about installing this resonator after the Y pipe and onto the extension. See any problem with doing it this way?

@@toxichazard6442 Not sure what you went with but Id say get the muffler delete and keep your stock res or swap in a 350z one and you're good to go. I got a muffler delete on my 04 sedan and swapped in a coupe res instead of my sedan one. Sounds nice. Not raspy.

Mekhi Harris louder if replacing a stock one The original question was whether simply adding it to an existing system not changing anything else would make it louder. Resonators only really deal with REDUCING unwanted droning n vibrations or raspiness at specific frequencies (like around 2000 revs for example) but this is particular one in vid is small and has less material than a stock one or the bigger ‘ultra quiet’ variant. might not be a good idea could easily regret doing resonator deletes or replacing stock one with a small one like this

A straight pipe is the loudest you can get besides just running open/no headers. Straight pipes also sound like absolute dog shit and will damage the ears and souls of every single person within a half mile radius. The Z1 will definitely be much louder than a stock exhaust with the muffler and mid-pipe
