G37 Stillen Gen 3 Longtube Intakes Review!!

Quick review of the stillen Gen 3 intanks I installed not to long ago. I Recommend anyone looking for some intanks to go with stillen. I had some Takedas when I first bought the car an they definitely weren’t better than these.

Yo after like an hour of driving do your intake pipes get extremely hot? Like I burn my hand if I touch it, and the heat even goes through the hood like the top of my hood feels hot just above where the pipes are

They do be hot but not to the point where it’s burning my hand I’ll say warm. You should get your radiator fans check out forsure bro when one of my fans weren’t working my intank pipes were really hot.

Will the intake throw a check engine light ? I want these but I still want to pass smog

No it won’t throw a check engine light an they’re carb legal you could pass smog with them on

You said you had the takeda air intakes? You man the takeda long tube intakes? Honestly i thought all 2.5" CAI would be the same whether it is z1 takeda ir or stillen. Z1 is currently the cheapest you think it's worth paying extra for stillen?

Yes if you look back at my old videos the Takeda long tube intanks was my first mod. I ended up selling them an getting stillen later down the line. I never buy certain parts off the websites rather get them used so I’m not paying a ridiculous price. But the stillen was definitely better than the Takedas.

If you not tuned you’ll notice more gas consumption but once I got tuned gas mpg went up

No unless you go 3 in but get tuned you’ll really feel the difference

I Got Tuned So The Car Can Run At Its Full Potential, When You Just Install Parts With No Tune You Waste Gas, Run Lean, Not That Much More Power Compared To Being Fully Tuned.
