G37 Supercharged vs z28 Camaro and SRT 10 Viper

G37 driver knows very little about racing. Why are you doing roll races with the car in AUTO mode doing 2k RPM in 4th/5th gear? In the 20mph roll race at 4:00 he should have been in 1st gear which would have put him around 5k RPM. Instead he starts in like 4th gear, honks it 3x, floors it and lets the transmission take its precious time to finally drop gears before the car actually gets going. G37 driver knows little about cars and must have bought the car with the supercharger already installed. They make ~400 to the wheels with that stillen kit on a stock VQ37 motor.

Or he could have just slapped the transmission into "Sport" mode which allows you to have full control over the transmission and manually shift gears yourself. Allows you to put the car into any gear and it'll hold the gear. That G37 driver would have done much better against the camaro if he started in the lowest possible gear. He didn't do as well as I thought he would have with that Stillen Supercharger. I have videos of my G37 vs a 2002 Anniversary Edition Camaro SS 4AT with SLP intake/exhaust and although he beat me, I was able to hang with him up til 80-90mph

400 to the wheels lol. I've watched a 2010 G37 with the stillen set-up hit 512 on the dyno. Dude just doesn't know how to drive the car.

I call BS on 527 to the wheels. Definitely not getting anywhere close to that on pump and without upgrading to a A2A kit. Only a handful of ppl are breaking 500whp on the stillen kit

+elmo z Lol. I'd have to agree. Just on the simple fact the Viper is stock with 500 crank HP. So maybe 440-450whp. Should have walked away with that much. At least it's pretty!

I have to agree. I have read alot of people saying you can only get 440-470 with a supercharger on the G37. I only seen people breaking over 500 with garett twins on the Gs and the 350/70s. But hey who knows. Could be very possible, anything is really.

i agree with you. My G made about 420 whp on stock pulley. no way he making 527 wheel, even 527 crank is a stretch, would have to be a really aggressive tune & the auto trans cant manage 527 wheel which would be like 400 lb-t

That old viper ripped the G a new one. Probably about 475 crank hp, which is about 380 rwhp. Stock they make 265-275 rwhp.

Nah the stillen superchargers make 500-550hp to the crank so looking at like 400-480 wheel hpadd a exhaust sway bars and more stuff and you can easily hit 600hp in these prolly won't be reliable if the power is that high but he can definitely surprise the shit outta some supercars if he leaned to drive.

Even 475hp crank works out to about 405whp (assuming you're using 15% DT loss). A modded Stillen kit can get 450-480ish whp.

I might be late with my comment but I just purchased the Stillen supercharger with all the necessary parts and knick-knacks I need. I am about 10 grand into this project and I'm waiting for it to be put together and sent to me. My original plan was to use the money as a down payment for a red sport or a GTR. But since my car is paid off I decided to give it some attention. So far I'm happy with my decision I will be more in debt for the next five to six years if I would have bought another car.. my brother has a q60 red sport it's a beautiful car btw. I love the VQ motor though
