We obey the laws of the land as long as they do not war against God. We must obey God rather than men. Every Christian should put Christ Jesus first and love people no matter which country they dwell in. Only a minority of immigrants truly need asylum refuge because some one in their country was and is trying to slay them. Many good things will happen if the majority of the people that came here illegally and unlawfully are deported back to their countries of origin. If a child was born and mostly raised in the United States but he utterly refused to learn English, he can go back home with his parents. A child born in Mexico and mostly raised there should know Spanish. I am a Christian dwelling in the United States and I hope Trump's deportation plan of unlawful foreigners happens soon.

I live in Chicago, too. Yes, we should love others, and we should share the gospel, but at what point do you neglect to tell people that they are breaking the law and their actions have consequences? If someone practices fornication or getting drunk, should a Christian avoid the topic because someone will get offended? Are there topics of law and order that are off the table? It's nice to have empathy, but where's your empathy for Americans who are struggling because of illegal immigration? I've been job hunting, and I've been skipped over several times, only to find illegal immigrants get hired in those same places. A loved one tried to find shelter last winter and was made to wait 6 days for a call back while the city of Chicago immediately shuttled illegal immigrants by bus straight from the border to the shelter. A couple of friends, disabled siblings, had their SSI benefits cut by around $200 because of all the money the city is giving to non-Americans. The city keeps taxing us to death to pay for this burden and my low income housing went up 30 percent since 2022. If that weren't enough, last summer large groups of immigrants gang members brought violence to the beach. And the city is coddling criminals, paying for their hotel rooms, food, phones, and everything. That is not justice.

First, you obviously have one standard for the USA and another for others. The Bible says" remove not the ancient landmark " Proverbs 23:10. Does this apply to new borders or old ones as well. The term implies that moving borders or landmarks dividing lands be it of private property or political boundaries is not pleasing to God. Yet our nation was founded and established exactly on removing ancient landmarks. Your theology might delude you into thinking the USA is immune from these commandments but no where in scripture is any nation other than Israel commanded to take over the lands belonging to others. This misapplication of scripture where the so called Native Americans were robbed of their lands with Biblical justification is exactly the same reasoning that led to a tolerance of slavery among colonial Christians. Where the Bible clearly condemns "man stealing" and that is exactly how we were founded. You lack historical understanding of the widespread enslavement of Native Americans. The Bible was twisted to justify millions of Native Americans forced into slavery and all kinds of forced labor throughout the Americas. Yes Native Americans were enslaved too. We violated and broke OVER 200 plus treaties with Native Americans. These treaties were Border AGREEMENTs often made after battles and wars where We as a nation promised to Respect these newly established borders but then decided to turn a blind eye and even encourage white sellers to cross illegally violating those agreements. Deuteronomy 23:21 says: 21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee." Yet even the Gibeonites who used deception to arrange a treaty were protected by God. How much more do you think God was angered by all the treaties that were signed with sincerity by Native Americans looking to survive our onslaught? Do you think God is injust? You use scripture but you seem to forget that it cuts both ways. If illegal migrants today are doing wrong, how much more have we done wrong through all our territorial games of deception? Let's look at our Latino neighbors to the south. Did the Spanish not have Florida for 300 years? Guess who lived in Florida? Many Spanish speaking persons of partial or full Native American blood who were often refered to as Spanish Indians. What did Andrew Jackson do? He sent troops into Florida and through brute force took it over. Many Spanish Indians had to flee, some were deported as a result of the Indian Removal Act. Yes some were taken to Oklahoma and some simply left to Cuba and or Mexico. Yet, even prior to that invasion, the Spanish Indians had been a source of slaves for the American colonies even as early as 1680. So our history is condensed with acts of injustice against natives and Africans. Did Swallowing up Spanish Florida by Force quench the hunger of the United States? Well we signed the Adams Onis Treaty which gave us Florida but we recognized that Texas was part of New Spain (which later became Mexico and would later inherit that treaty by default) . Yet our hunger to violate treaties was insatiable. Later American settlers some of which were already conspiring or planning to take over Texas, saw an opportunity for legally migrating to Mexico, then jumped on the opportunity when Mexico opened up it's borders to American settlers. Austin even wrote almost prophetically about his desire to actually take Texas for the USA years prior to the mass migrations why? Because the south could not afford to have a free non slave territory so close to it because Mexico had outlawed slavery decades before the US. So when the Texas revolt happened it was simply a self fulfilled prophecy. African Slavery became one of the main if not the main issue of contention with Mexico. By the way tens of thousands of settlers came illegally without permission from Mexico. Austin had planned this from the beginning. So our history is illegal immigration. We then fought an unjust war with Mexico to take over all those other South West states. Which Abraham Lincoln called an UNJUST war, and Ulysses S Grant called it a "Wicked War" and another American writer wrote am essay on civil disobedience protesting the war. Yet our insatiable hunger for more land caused us to take Puerto Rico by force, Hawaii, and we even tried to take more of Mexico through Extortion by violating the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and forcing Mexico to sell us the Gadsden purchase under the threat of another War. Should I talk about how we attempted to take over the Philippines after the Spainish American war. Yet you sit there so comfortably using the Term "WET BACK" ? Would you like if someone used a racist term against you? Remember, you are conflating law and order with mass deportations. One can have one without the other. We can secure our present borders and deport criminals and at the same time be humane in our approach towards people that were created in God's image. Remember what Jesus said " don't separate the tares from the wheat because you will uproot the wheat" right? Do you care about uprooting American born children and destroying these families? Do you care about separating husband from wife ? When God says do not separate them! Do you care about the traumatized children that will be put into cages. Do you not remember that scripture commands parents to take care of their children. He who does not provide for his children is worse than an infidel and has denied the faith. Do you not understand that the vast majority of these people came here to we work to provide for their families. Do you think God has one standard for them and another for us? Your economic analysis is flawed. You largely rely on surveys measuring public opinions rather than economic indicators to argue about the costs associated with this population. Do you know it's an issue of distribution because the Federal government actually gets revenue through social security revenue and it's the states and local governments that deal with many of the costs related to illegal immigrants. However, the federal government does not suffer because it collects more revenue via deductions. And yes our prices for agriculture and restaurants and so many products will go up without an undocumented labor force. Yet you don't look at the benefits you only look at the costs. There is data on both sides of the argument. Be fair, be honest, be Christ like and think, whatsoever you do unto the least of these you do unto me.

Aliens have been intentionally placed in impoverished Black communities and given resources that Black American citizens have never received. 72% of the homeless in Chicago are Black but aliens are placed in hotels and given furnished apartments with the rent paid in Black communities to gentrify them. Meanwhile, Black Americans are receiving no help and being evicted. They are also bringing ant*-Blackness with them. In Chicago, an alien was at City Hall insulting Black Americans and other aliens there laughed. This is encouraged.
