Okuu being a silly birdbrain is kind of a meme at this point, but I contend she has a lot more depth than most people realize. She and everyone she knows - Most notably Satori - Are the kind of beings who were always despised and mistreated by both humans and other Youkai, to the point where living in literal hell was preferable to them over living in Gensokyo. Is it any wonder that she didn't want to dedicate her life to essentially being a slave and living battery to be used by people who gave her nothing but hate and anguish, and would much prefer to give them a taste of their own medicine and make their lives a living hell?

Damn man, that's an interesting idea. I like to think that in one moment her trigger will go off. I would like to see something like that in Touhou dark works like KKHTA or even IGLS, but in both cases she dies off screen, which makes me very sad.

@@Ponera-Sama Touhou Igyoukyo Grotesque Land Story. A web video series, quite edgy, a lot of blood and violence, but personally I think it is a more promising work than KKHTA. A lot of people don't like this kind of stuff, but I really recommend taking a look, it's not all that bad. Unfortunately, as I wrote above, Okuu does not appear much in it.
