This hits me in the feels. I grew up on G4 and techtv and the combine of them. Xplay, Attack of the Show, Cinematech, Judgement Day, Icons, and the anime they'd run in specials. All the hosts grew on you. And I was always excited when I got home from school for the channel. I'm 25 now. Just wantedto thank you for the feelz here

Yeah it was pretty much the best basic cable channel I've ever watched, and I got to watch it in the time between horrible highschool and not-bad college, when I had tons of free time! I felt like there was nothing like it before, and nothing like it since, on cable. KZbin has taken it's place in my mind.

Same I am 30 now I remember when it was still called g4techtv. It was pure gold at the time. cheat, judgment day, screen savers, call for help, g4tv.com, pulse, blister, cinematech... I was playing runescape, and watching on my lcd tv back in 2004 through picture in picture. Such great times. Never forget it.

I remember when G4 was appeare only for 7 days a year, as a sample of a premiere channel my family hadnt the money to get because it wasnt apart of normal cable. I remember trying my hardest to try and record EVERYTHING i possibly could from off said sampling using my VCR and compiled stack of blank VHSes. Boy howdy were they the good days. That was back during middle school for me, during the summers most the time. Back when kids hadnt cell phones, and we use to knock on eachothers door to go out riding our bikes, or go swimming in the cool kids outside pool. Back when a friday night was all the more special cuz we hadnt no school, and someones mon would sometimes take us down to the nearest block buster and would rent us a video game (it usually being twisted metal, tony hawk pro skater 2) so we gould go home to play it, but not before stopping off and picking up the stack of pizzas she ordered for all us to enjoy first. G4 holds a place in my heart, and reflects all of the pure childlike happiness and all them deliciously nostalgic times.... boy howdy twas it some good times!! (To give refrence, im now currently 32 yesr old. And if im not mistaken, during the times G4 began showing "samples of their origanl channel before it had any4hing to do with techTV, the moutain dew flavor LIVE WIRE had literally just created and introduced to the market, where id consume it by the case; cuz it was my most favoritest thing ever. Back when as a kid)

I have been trying to find this mini series for a decade. Thank you for uploading it now six years ago. This was back when g4 was about gaming with its many unique shows. Younger me found it amazing how each game was so expansive. But only later did I learn all the games were not exactly linked together. lol

This was my favorite show of all time! I played Everquest AND Dark age of Camelot back then and I loved this show how they used characters they made in the game for little sketches and skits and stories. Thank you so much for these videos man!

I miss Anarchy Online so much. I know people are still playing but it's a shadow of what it once was. I spent hours late at night in the computer room next to my parents room playing. I'd have the sound almost all the way down trying not to wake them since I wasn't supposed to be on that late. I remember people pulling trains of mobs through the dungeons and wiping the party coming in behind them. Damn I wish I could go back to that

Check out "g4's portal" on dailymotion there's about 37 episodes on there. some of the episodes trigger a copy right strike when uploaded to youtube, (I think because of the background music they play at the end credits), Anyway, I'm not surprised you couldn't find them, after all who the hell goes on dailymotion?

This is incredible! Thank you so much dude! I can't believe I didn't find these before. I swear I thought I checked dailymotion, but I guess I didn't. Gunna save and sort these on my computer and maybe attempt a few edits to avoid copyright strikes, then I'll try uploading to this channel in a couple of weeks and assembling a chronological playlist. Your're more than welcome. incidentally a buddy of mine uploaded them on there. unfortunatly those are all the episodes he had. He tried to upload them on to youtube but got a strike. It's a Funny story how he found them, prior to two years ago, he didn't have a single one in his possession. So, what he did was, he used the internet archive wayback machine, searched through dozens of G4 forums, as well as Dave's old website. He eventually found a guy who archived the episodes, managed to find that guy on social media, contacted him, and he was gracious enough to send my friend the episodes, free of cost! Sadly, no. If I had them, I would upload them right away. I stumbled upon this (and the two other episodes on my channel) by chance on Archive.org. Overall I think there are just 18 out of 60 episodes of Portal on KZbin. I've scoured the internet in the hopes of finding more, but so far no luck. I'm hoping a savior comes along someday and uploads the entire show. Maybe Dave Meinstein himself. Portal hasn't appeared on TV (even in reruns) since 2008 so the odds of some random person holding the entire show's run are pretty low. Keep up hope! And thanks for watching!

I have even emailed the company that bought G4 and asked them if I could buy the rights to the show but they didn't get back to me. I have been trying to get my hands on them for a long time but no luck. I have a feeling someone is sitting on them somewhere. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the encouragement friend.
