WH Andy’s boat has a factory little 4” screen on the dash. It’s comical compared for sure 🤣.

That's HARD CORE guys. I know you froze your buns off that day. Awesome job on the portable set up. Can't wait to see future videos showing some fish rising up the screen.

Sam Thompson We were busting and pushing ice that day! 🥶. Lol. Today was a good lesson seeing more structure and more fish. I do wish we could record on livescope mode.

Awesome boat and livescope setup. Amazing how the fishfinder tech has come. I remember growing up we had a greyscale screen that showed 3 icons for small, medium, and large fish but was not very accurate. My buddy has a boat with a 20 inch screen that does 360 views with 3d imaging, it is unreal.

logdon17 lol. Yes! I remember the fish scrolling across the screen. Within the next 10 years, the livescope will be the equivalent of those ancient models. I think that’s how far and fast the technology will come.

Is this the 30qt or 19qt magellan cooler? I really like that setup.

30. I don’t think the 9” graph will fit in the smaller one.

My husband is trying to duplicate the build of your portable Garmin Livescope system from your KZbin video. I have all the parts but having one minor problem; Can you tell me how you took the handle off the top of the Magellan cooler to drill and mount the Garmin base? Thanks in advance.

You can stick a screwdriver under the handle to pry them out. It’s pretty stout plastic, so don’t be afraid to pry hard.

I would love to! Unfortunately, you wouldn't want to pay what we would be charging LOL. Give us a month or so of field testing and we will have all of the kinks worked out, and then you can see what we finally come up with. It is easy to put together, the hard part was building it without the final design on paper, just ideas in our heads.

It was a pretty good idea,,,, then we bought a boat and hard mounted it lol. It looks good and works good, but once you get it all set up in a boat or dock, it’s takes up as much space as an extra person.

Sam Thompson My man! So cool to see ya on the water today! We left throwing 3 back. Amazing how some trees look so good, the regular sonar shows piles of fish, but the livescope shows it’s just a huge root wad. We went to sailboat cove and chased shad with it for a while. The wind just wasn’t fun.

No we don’t. Sorry. It’s all pretty straightforward if you understand basic wiring though.
