Only 55-100 cm rainfall is required for growth of cotton.so practically,it's not possible in the gulf region to be suited for cultivation of it as the cotton needs warm and dry with moderate rainfall+ frost free physical condition!

Throughout the year doesn't mean literally whole year. It just means dry season is extremely short. And cotton is grown inland in USA . And anti Cyclonic rainfall is not that severe

Firstly cotton kaise ugta hai yaar china type climate me when it needs dry climate bcoz china type climate me to har season rainfall hoti hai. Secondly California current is a cold ocean current. Gulf type should receive frontal rainfall in winter not in summer, in summer due to on shore trade winds. Correct ?

I guess, rainfall accounts for both the reasons. As Maritime temperate air mass get heated in summer and hence get unstable, bring rainfall of thunderstorm nature.

British type is not found in Africa. She said the natal type climate (warm temperate east margin) in South Africa is more conducive for British as it is moderate and hence we still have many British settlements
