Thanks Leon! This was timely for me. I was disappointed with the sound from my Axe-Fx III when listening through headphones. I started experimenting with the suggestions from your video and the sound I’m hearing from the headphones is a lot better!

Man your timing is perfect, as usual. I have a Def Leppard Phil Collen live patch that sounds awesome through my 1936. Through headphones, it's more like a radio broadcast from WWII. I followed the guidance in your video, and now it's spot on. Wouldn't it be great if the Fractal had a "headphones" check box that automatically changed the High Cut, etc. if selected? Maybe someday...

@@G66eu Yeah, you could dump your 10 favorite patches into the headphones themselves, and select / control them via mobile device. Someone should hire me for tech stuff, I'm sure as hell not going to get rich as a guitar player.

My go to with headphones is the Parametric EQ after the cab with a big High cut and lots of Reverb. Cheers Leon and G66, keep them coming.

With Headphones or low volume i like to use the gain enhancer in the amp block.

Just discover the room setting! I was using "room" IR for this (the celestion one) but seems simpler with that knob! :)

Well, Rec Studio C Reverb WAS a magic button for me :) I have tried literally everything and my Axe still sounded like a Jackhammer into a 100 bucks solid state amp. And now my neighbors can finally sleep in peace :) Ty so much.

Any reason you use the low cut and hi cut in the filter section on the Preamp page and not the one on the Cab page?

Hi, thanks for the tip! I am waiting for my FM3 and thinking about possible headphones options for the FM3. I have here my old Sennheiser HD-280 Pro. Will it suite me or I need to think about better options?

Any tips for when someone is running one output to headphones and one to FOH? im assuming that these tips shouldn't really applied to the FOH signal chain?

The headphones out is the same signal as output 1, so setup a chain in parallel using output 2 without these

Leon ive just got an AXE FX3 MK 2 and intend to use output 2 jut to run to a separate mixer for my IEMs. Do you think this method would work if i added it to a split before output 1 which is my main output to our PA.

pretty sure your guitar is tuned a half step down lol he's in standard for sure :)
