Leon, you brought a smile to my face mate..:). People don’t under stand that LA session players like Landau, Lukather, Dan Huff, Paul Jackson Jr, Ritenour all had large Bob Bradshaw rigs to get this sound. And, to my ears, you’ve exceeded those refrigerator size racks... I chased that tone for years... Great job...

Dang this is a nice sound. Now I know how to get the sound of my strat out there. It may be wreckless but playing with the top pickup make it buttery smooth with this style.

Man, that clean without the cab block sounds A LOT like a Piezo. I love it! That's a great tip in of itself.

Hi Leon, very interesting, this gives me some ideas to try. I use this type of sound very clean but a little less marked by the 80's !, Basically I use the dynacomp compressor + CA3+Clean + Dimension 1 or 2 and different IR depending on the desired color. I will try this band-commander

Hi Leon how to tame fm3 unwanted feedback with high gain tones when in live situation onstage?
@G66eu3 жыл бұрын
Input gate or the gate block between the amp and cab

Are those pickup rings yellowing or are they white and just look off in the video? Love the emerald, but not the rings haha

For parallel effects, shouldn't the bypass be set to Mute-In and not Mute-Fx-In? Seems the latter setting would allow another dry signal thru the block when bypassed while the former would completely mute the parallel block. Or do you want Mute-Fx-In to maintain a volume level even when bypassed?
@6stringstandard1363 жыл бұрын
Think I found my own answer. If the mix is set to 100%, Mute-In and Mute-FX-In would have the same effect. And typically with a block in parallel the mix set to 100%.

What is the purpose of parallel? Thanks
@DynamicRockers3 жыл бұрын
A block in parallel doesn't alter the sound from the previous blocks of the chain through it but adds up to the output signal. It's like a serial with dry/wet at 50%.

Hi, great vids as usual. I asked earlier if the FX8 can be used in conjunction with the FM3 to act as a master to the FM3 in order to take advantage of the extra foot-switches that the FX8 has? I am looking to buy the FM3 if this can be accomplished. I already own the FX8. Just wondering what your thoughts may be about this. Thank you.
@G66eu3 жыл бұрын
I'd use it this way -imagine the FM3 is your amp and setup 4CM with the FX8 and FM3. Use the FX8 for most of your effects and use the FM3 footswitches for different scenes. They can talk to one another via midi too!

I would ask you, if possible, to rewrite a tutorial about MIDI Controllers from a project in DAW that would schedule the changes of Presets and SCENES. I saw your post but I think that if you could detail the procedure and the specific controllers it would be extraordinary. useful for many guitarists ..The procedure is not very clear from the Manual. Maybe you think we enjoy a more explicit tutorial ... Thank you very much! With love and respect from PARIS!

You could tell your ear found that un-effected clean sound Interesting if not particularly pleasant at first- You just wanted to keep playing.🤘🏻 Really good stuff here LT- just realized I was not subbed because this is not your channel and that’s how I missed this 2 years ago. I’m sure that’s unfortunately common for people who follow your stuff- They see u here and figure they are already subbed. Later bud.
