DECEMBER 1st!!!!! Merry Christmas to us! I like being able to adjust the pitch on the fly. Very helpful when playing old VH in Eb vs newer VH in E. Very helpful video! Thank you.

If FAS would offer a "PC-5" Performance Controller with the 5 knobs as little unit which I can attach to my mic stand and connected to FM3 or 9, I buy it immediately. As a glass user I can't see the small letters on the floor units. And to not crouch down is highly appreciated.

You could set modifiers to External Controllers, then assign those to MIDI CC numbers, and use something with MIDI CC knobs. I was thinking something like the Korg NanoKontrol, but it's USB-MIDI only so you'd probably need some other piece of gear to convert from that to the DIN MIDI input on the FM9.

@@therealshavenyak yes, the Google algo led me to the video "is this device the best Midi controller for the Fractal Audio FM3" by Stéphane Rigaud. It convinced me to buy the UC4 of faderfox. Still need to setup the FM3 to learn the CCs of the UC4. But thanks for your hint.

I think I commented this on one of your other videos, but you keep doing this thing where you show a super practical solution to a problem I didn't realize I had. I've largely been assigning footswitches for things like activating different channels on the input block for different guitars input gain levels, then saving it to a global library to call up between presets, and having a virtual capo switch assigned with a press and press and hold for 3 different tuning possibilities. I'll probably still use those, but its nice to know that I can throw those up as globals and have access to them outside of my parameters that I usually use.

Wow….this is sweet!! I have that guitar too, it’s the best guitar I’ve ever played. And it’s drop dead gorgeous. I put a ToneClaw locking claw in it, the tremolo on these Music Man guitars is a Floyd destroyer. Y’all really need to try one if you haven’t.

Thank you very much for the great video. I have one question. I have an Inputboost in my Preset. The boost was set to controlswitch 1 to have it on or off in the different scenes of the preset. How can I change the status of the controllswitch from the front panel?. The Inputboost is set to performance and Global. I can't find where to switch on or off in a specific scene from the front panel. Scenecontrollers work well, but were ist the Controllswitch menue? Thank you very much. Greetings from Germany.

Can all of these things be controlled with the fc 12 and mission pedals?

My beef with the Perform views is that the number of global and per preset assignments is quite limited with 10 assignments each. You can get enough to cover your most adjusted things for live use, but for e.g fast studio/home use I'd prefer if there was double or triple the amount of possible assignments. Similarly I don't like that you have to remember to assign these beforehand because they are only assignable via Axe-Edit. Finally there is no super fast way to get to Perform views as it is always several clicks away from the home screen. Fractal could improve all this functionality a good bit.

I think a long time. I could see an Axe III XL with a touch screen maybe, but there really isn’t a need besides that. I have a III version 1 and it’s more than I could ever need. It’s the guitar equivalent of Adobe Photoshop…a giant bag of tools to get shit done.
