Excelent video! What would be the equivalent of ¨Manual¨ in the AX8? can't seem to find anything like that on the flanger

Works perfectly for the whammy block but I still have the problem for the wah block. Even with the Wah auto engage on fast there’s still an audible delay in the effect turning off after my heel is down

Great content CC. The Golden Mapping technique is truly golden. I spent an hour yesterday trying to get the Whammy effect sounding good in Lonely Boy by Black Keys. I was close but it should be perfect using this technique. Thanks!!

Hi Cooper, I've bought your Masterclass for AXE FX3 and it helped me a lot. I already viewed all the videos, but I don't remember if you were talking about the use of IEM in the videos? I want to use some with my band and I was wondering how the best way to use it, can you help me and tell me which chapter do I have to review in your Masterclass? Thanks in advance for your work and answer, greetings from Belgium, Olivier.

should work well for the wah aswell thanks
@coopercarter2 жыл бұрын
Auto engage works better for wah in general, imo. Using the Golden Mapping will turn off the wah instantly every time you rock it heel down so you don't get a clean up and down wah sound.

this is a perfect example of how much work it is to get an axe fx to sound like it is supposed to. Whammy pedal - plug it in. Axefx - fine tune 10 more parameters.
@therealshavenyak11 ай бұрын
That’s true, but you only have to tweak the settings to taste once and then copy the block to any preset. Also, the OG whammy couldn’t seamlessly turn on and off just by working the pedal. There are always tradeoffs; I miss the simplicity of an amp and a handful of pedals sometimes, but the flexibility and power of the FM9 is worth it.

Wait, you mean you have to work a bit to get a good sound!??
