g6a-7 Atwood water heater not lighting properly HELP!!! TIA

my Atwood water heater is not lighting properly or getting a nice blue flame like it should be. what do I need to check or look to get it running. thanks.

It ended up working on its own. I did change the tank regulator, but not sure that was necessary. I kept turning the unit from pilot to on letting it burn yellow like that. Then shut it off. Did that a bunch just messing around with it. There is a quarter inch hex head screw mounted to the tube in front. That's the air inlet adjustment. That may help you but I'll post a video today of.my unit and how it's running now and what I did.
