I really wish we had Formula Offroad in the USA. I know we have rock bouncer races which are sick but I really like the scoring and diversity of tracks and types of events in Icelandic Formula Offroad. I'm also like 90% sure that with just some paddle tires some stateside rock bouncers would be competitive in IFO, we have some wild builds backed by skilled drivers.

Rules Question: Some of the cars that rolled off the hillside in Track 2 looked like they could've almost landed back on their wheels if they had a little more momentum. That got me wondering, do the rules for FOFF dictate that if a car does a full roll without going out of the bounds of the course, can the driver continue (assuming they are able) or are they red-flagged?

Great question! They are red flagged due to safety reasons. Even though we know these cars and drivers can easily handle a simple roll we can never be too careful ;)

haha u go got that that righ. How ever. The goal is to get up without touching any of the marker sticks. driving into them takes off points. Cause you start with loads of them like in darts lol :)

I’m not the best at math but at 1:55 he said the driver owned the car from 2013-2016. I believe that is 3 years but he said “in those 4 years” 🤔

Snorri bought the car before the 2013 season and sold it after the 2016 season. Won the championship in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, four years ;)

The main function of the body is to keep rocks and sand away from the driver. So it's always a compromise between visibility and protection ;)

500-800 hp with added 100-300 hp Nos. Not sure about the torque, probably anywhere between 500-1000 lb-ft

Could do without so much commentary, the constant giving of the points, penalties and blah blah blah when they show it on screen after each driver finishes his run for that track. Id like to hear the badass engines more that this dudes voice going on and on. Just my opinion.
