Whats New in ArcGIS for AutoCAD 350 (3 of 3): AutoLISP Functions

I am new to Autolisp and I don't know how to use ESRI lisp command functions to my program, Can you please help me to give some examples. We have some feature classes with Attribute tables with lot of fields string type, integer, and other types. how can I fill these fields automatically with available data. like layers, pipe type, pipe dia, cable type, cable depth, boundary type etc.
