For Landsat 8, NDWI= (Band 5-Band 6) / (Band 5+ Band 6) what is the use of this formula can you explain this is also the formula for calculating NDWI

The formula u mentioned is wrong & It's not for ndwi, it's used for NDBI = (band 6 - band 5)/(band 6 + band 5)
