उत्तराखंड में वैसे तो कई भाषाएं और उनकी उप-बोलियां बोली जाती हैं लेकिन प्रमुखत: गढ़वाली, कुमाऊंनी और जौनसारी है। लेकिन बदलते परिवेश के साथ इन भाषाओं के लिए संकट खड़ा हो गया है। इनको बोलने वाले धीरे-धीरे कम होते जा रहे हैं। स्थितियां ऐसी बन रही हैं कि ये लुप्तप्राय भाषाओं की सूची में लगातार ऊपर-ऊपर जा रही हैं। हम इस रिपोर्ट में ना सिर्फ इन भाषाओं के समृद्ध इतिहास को लेकर बात कर रहे हैं बल्कि ये भी बता रहे हैं कि कैसे खुद हम और सरकारें इन भाषाओं को लुप्त करने में जुटे हुए हैं। अगर आप इन भाषाओं के बारे में कुछ भी जानना चाहते हैं तो ये एक रिपोर्ट आपके सभी सवालों के जवाब देगी।
