One thing that the Injustice comics and this movie did right, is display Superman’s tyranny in a slow progression. He didn’t just become an evil dictator over night. He implemented laws, warnings, reaching out to the people of the world in a way that made them trust he had their best interests at heart. But when it came down to getting his way, he was willing to do whatever it took to get there, and if the lives of his friends were that price, he was willing to pay it. The first Injustice game sees Superman in his final year, after he’s lost any and all semblance of the man he used to be. But throughout the years it took him to get there, you can’t help but sympathize with him a little bit. They made him a very understandable villain, even if some people still hate any notion of Superman being evil.

Yeah, this is barely touching the upcoming Justice League movies from Discovery given back to Snyder. That's why hardly anybody really cares for his movies. Instead of just making them from just a regular story, he plans out his stories and makes the movies based off of comic books. The Injustice series or Knightmare sequence is supposedly too dark for any normal company, so Snyder and now Discovery will be completing the realistic version making the hardcore fans happy.

@@omarsalem1219 Well, honestly the biggest Evil Superman story to date is Injustice. No other storyline has done it nearly as well or as efficiently. A lot of people who hate evil Superman hate him because they think that it’s just something that happened overnight. Injustice makes a good point to show that it happened very gradually over the years, until Clark himself doesn’t recognize the man he’s become but fully believes that it’s what he’s meant to be in order to make the world a better place. But to be honest, there aren’t many Superman stories that I like in general. He’s one of those characters that writers struggle with because he’s far too powerful and making him relatable is difficult. Hell in the Death of Superman storyline I cared much more about Lois Lane and what was going on with her than Supes character. He’s just never been a favorite of mine, personally. That’s why evil Superman kinda works for me. It makes him relatable because it humanizes him with errors and mistakes of a common person. He too is capable of losing it, and that’s what makes it interesting. But that’s just me. Superman’s stories as of late have been ok but I think that the best thing they have done with the character is focus on his son Jon and have Clark act as a supporting character with Lois.

Shazam is actually a very important character to the DC universe. He has several titles, including: Champion of Magic, and Guardian of the Rock of Eternity. He's essentially magic's keeper and a leader throughout the cosmos, which is why his lair has so many doors to different worlds. If he says not to do something, magic users know not to.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the fact that a movie involving Superman becoming a dictator made Krysta like Superman more kinda worries me, as someone who, very recently, became a massive fan of Big Blue, all because he was a good man who loves humanity. I'm not saying I hate the concept of 'bad Superman', but I've just seen so much of it that I'm kinda tired of it. Maybe I'm spewing out words that make no sense, idk.

I understand superman, when someone is in love its the greatest gift but also a huge flaw in the armor anything could damage or break it, a bad day, money troubles, trust issues, losing the love of your life, the one thing i sympathize with is how he had eveything and still couldnt save the one you love, i can relate, obviously im definitely not calling myself superman, but i once had eveything too, and she was perfect to me, she was eveything to me, and no matter what i felt i couldn't, didnt have a single bad day with her, i wanted to spend my life with her but sometimes forces in life, be it due to an inamite object or.. a person, losing the light of your life is a horrible experience to own.

Oh boy, this movie...I rarely care to critique stuff on being comic accurate, but injustice has so many big moments that shouldn't be left out. Like flash dying is so stupid because he's one of the most essential characters in the comic he's basically the reader where he's torn and is unsure who is right, batman or superman. You mentioned where Aquaman was at, and he was another important character in the comic because he and superman are beefing because superman is on his tyranny wave and wanted to control Atlantis. This movie should've been a two-parter, hell even three, because there is like 5yrs worth of conflict, and they just cut all that out like it's not even injustice anymore; the movie is just another generic superhero movie with a somewhat happy ending. I know you played the game the age Idk about injustice two, but those games and the comic are the best way to know about the story. I'll say there are some cool moments in this movie, like the supermen fight scene, seeing batman breakdown, and the intro. If this movie were its own thing without the injustice title, it would've been cool. You should really check out the comic Krysta. Rather you read it, watch comcistorian goated cover on it because injustice is easily DC's best work Lmao, I'm very passionate about injustice. Good reaction tho.

Absolutely agree, usually if this was a live action film I could forgave the studio's for the lack of content and important events and moments y'know for the sake of time and all that. But this didn't feel like injustice to me, dick sparring with Damien in the batcave was a very important scene because dick caught the baton not Superman, so later on when everyone's fighting in Arkham and Damien snaps and throws his baton at dick again in frustration dick doesn't catch it causing him to lose balance and fall on a rock snapping his neck. That was the catalyst that split the heroes up that someone so positive so full of hope that everyone in the superhero community respected (even the Arkham inmates) would end up being the 1st casualty of the conflict to come. Or when superman realizes what he's done he goes back to the fortress of solitude while his pain and his lost and anger continues to build while the TV's play news reports of violence and corruption all over the world THATS when he decides to say "no more" Superman could not a single moment to grieve, to heal and Diana encouraged his behavior. And what I find the MOST upsetting is bringing Lois from another earth. at a certain point superman had made his choice of absolute authority the comics and the games made it clear that he's not coming back from this, the choices he made only pulled him deeper into this dark emotional abyss where he does things MORE terrible more unspeakable than the joker. And this animated adaptation wrapped it up in what feels like a cpl of days. Though if other ppl liked it that's cool so i wouldn't take that away from anyone but for me I prefer the comics version because there were some moments where there wasn't a lot of constant dialogue to keep the momentum from scene to the next.

3:35 I just love that in the Injustice Movie they kill of Flash right at the start, cover it for about 30 seconds and then never mention it for the rest of the movie. Sorry did I type "love" I meant "hate". I hate that part of the Injustice Movie. They should have done a tv show.

Man that's the only time I've seen DC animated movies drop the ball in a adaptation, the Injustice comics deserved so much better and a multipart adaptation.

@Bigjoe707 what are you talking about the killing joke animated movie was pretty faithful it is a little weird that everytime t I Play the movie there is that strange fan fiction with batgirl that lasts for exactly 29 minutes It's a good thing it is not part of the main story and does affect it at all though and can just be skipped

@@bigjoeofthe707 aside from the werid Bruce and Barbara thing I didn't think it was really that bad the graphic novel is pretty short so It made somewhat sense they had to add another plot line into it as for this yeah I'm definitely disappointed they rushed this lol

It isn't Batman's job to keep people locked up, it's the states job. Also Joker wasn't killed for his crimes because he is classified as mentally insane which is also why he gets sent to Arkham instead jail

Nigtwing becoming deadwing is I think a reference to the character dead man , he’s the bold white guy ghost that wears the same outfit

Nightwing becoming Deadwing is based on the idea of Boston Brand becoming Deadman. Boston Brand and Dick Grayson are both acrobats.
