Mrs Radha Sankar was equisite in her beautiful Malayalam comments. "Kachapra mala" of the Padmanabhaswami temple was a sweet lesson for me. The 'nool', the string that holds all the flowers together in the context of the kutcheri pakkom in the city of Padmanabhaswami temple was quite apt and wholly welcome. Thanks to Gaana Kairali I in California could get to hear from such luminaries in my home state of Kerala. I wish the prof announced the raga of the bhajan for those of us -- including me -- who have no idea. I must refer to my friend Sangithakalanidhi SriTKGovindarao saar's book on Swathi Thirunal songs. Namaste! Hope Manjula remembers me.

It is NOT Sahaana It is SuhHuhNa all shorts as the ulimate authority on our music Prof SRJanakiramanathan saar keeps on reminding us. Why can't everyone listen and follow his steps. Look at this : Had she announced the raga[I could have easily deciphered this lovely raga without professor's prodding] Then she tells us the name of the vaggeyakara -- the renowned and recently resurrcted by the great Smt Baby Srirram and wholly supported in that holy endeacour by Dr Jayaram Ramanathan of London, England.

Lovely voice. Kambhoji raga Alabama was very grand with kambhoji ragas all the jeevaswaras well elaborated step by step. Beautiful violin accompliment. Some steps reminded ofLalgudis style.
