I visited Gaanzekraal on the 8, 9, 10th of October 2021 at a cost of R550.00 for 2 nights, after many years and was surprised to see how little it has changed except for the people that were visiting.
Campsite A was full, the chalets were busy but campsite b was practically empty, we enjoyed a peaceful weekend here and the weather was mild, partly cloudy on Friday and Saturday, sunny on Sunday.

What's the security like

We had no issues besides a bit of rowdiness from some of the chalet occupants, but that was quickly suppressed by the security staff.
