I ain't gonna lie I skipped from drizzt to Avernus not realizing how friggin long it took cause I just started 2 weeks till last season ended Oct 22nd and was trying to get as much season exp as possible then half way through I went back to water deep. Was gonna unlock the champion but didn't have time for 20 more variants. Now that I have split the party it's a bit different. Running tiamat week 3 of playing cause the battle passes give those sweet sweet scales. I'm way out of order but I can push to 875 at highest on Evernus. Kent is also my main damage dealer and it's only because I try to run every campaign a heavy deep push for my account. Which usually ends up being 575-875. Next week I'll probably try to hit 900 on everything while powering up Zorbu stacks.

I know it's just semantics, wouldn't logic dictate that an evergreen is an always available champ, which should include core. So all core should be evergreen, but not all evergreen are core?

Agree, I came here to say that. In mathematical terms Core Champions are a subset of Evergreen Champions. This seems consistent with how the terms are used in game.
