My grandfather who is 90 and has been using this drug for a long time I want to get him off of it. Because he is not the same person he used to be he is exuberating all the it's exuberating all the effects that you're talking about and he doesn't even drive. I am talking about a person who still makes his own bills out. And now he is just like mush. He can barely think straight, his handwriting is horrible now, But still has pain. I think I'm going to have a full medical review done. Thank you so much for the info.

When they wanted to take my blood to make sure I was on it, I said no more, went cold turkey. It was like I was shrooming for 2 days on a bad trip.

I am on both Gabapentin (800mg tab 3 times daily) & Methadone (120mg daily). Because of a previous head injury I have had my reaction time test, and cordination tests. Every test I score better that average. If I was in a wreck, based on blood tests there is the possibility I would go to jail. This is wrong. I have been on Methadone for over 20 year. I have been on Gabapentin for 15 years. I use to be on MUCH higher doses of both meds. Based on my better than average test results, I believe my brain/body has adjusted. So I ask, if my reaction time is better than average, and other test... than is it not possible that people are going to jail, loosing their license, etc. base on blood tests that do not always accurately represent the mental or physical state a driver is in.? If even 1 out of 100 is wrongly deprived of their freedom should we not reexam the tools we are using to determine if one is responsible for causing an accident? We could also talk about false positives and how they could be resposible for one loosing their freedom, but I will let you ponder the former. P.S. Please ask yourself how you would feel if you were in my shoes, or of those that have went to jail because they needed medications to feel half way human, which lead to...

I would think the drug could possibly help the hearing for some of the interested parties. I think your voice is very clear and audible. My ears are fine. 😂

@Susan Shpak Easy on me Susan . No malice was intended. My problem is mobility and not hearing. We all have a problem in life to deal with. I’m 76 and didn’t mean to insult anyone.
