Gabberz was the winner of The Great Alleycat of London 2023 and Alleycat Super Series 2023 and many other races here in London.

He just hosted his first race London Burning, sister race to NYC's Bedford Burning by Krussia.
If there's a race on my money is always on Gabz to take the W.
He was way too fast for me to follow, I got dropped an unbelievable amount of times on this day and I don't even think he was riding fast.
Trying out a new extra wide aspect ratio this time, hopefully it looks good. Editing this with 2 video sources and 3 audio channels was a pain in my ass. Don't think I'll be doing that any time soon again.

helps to have foot retention, cleats ideally (make sure not multidirectional release cleats, danger) one foot push and the other foot pull, lock up the body and put allll of ur energy thru the cranks

fast or "explosive" muscle movement. best trained with action sports like skateboarding, bmx, etc or other fast paced sports that require fast, on the spot decision making like tennis, boxing, etc. you can just put on muscle like classic velodrome sprint athletes but you loose a lot of freedom of movement, which you definitely should have when sprinting through real life traffic and people. But the best training is experience: he's not just sprinting randomly every time. he knows and predicts the movement of the city and knows when to put on speed in situations where classic cyclists would just start gradually.

How do you find riding fixed no breaks with cleats?

Much better power transfer than flat pedals with straps, good for riding fast. Not good for tricks.

It can happen and it will happen. You can prevent it by not whip skidding, tightening the release tension on your pedals and not using worn out cleats.
