I don’t want to sound annoying but I have symptoms of mania, and I have a friend w a disorder that causes mania, and when she’s really going through it she will sometimes rant on her social media and record herself saying things, and has very Similar mannerisms to Gabbie in this video, It’s different for everyone, I think it’s weird to assume we can tell weather or weather not she actually has it just by watching her videos. It’s fine to speculate by one’s self but to even type out “I have this and I don’t act that way” is still harmful, I’m not trying to be rude I just don’t like arm chair diagnoses

It’s either or, I know many people who have had manic episodes where they actually think they’re the mother of God and shit like that, it is bizarre. that’s the thing about manic episodes, you will feel like you’re at the top of the world, like you could kill a deity then it just crashes down and gets horrific. I have physically documented myself doing this before but i’ve never posted it because in a way you don’t even remember it clearly everything is a blur. “I’m the happiest person on the planet, i’m dancing and singing like i’ve never done before.” it’s a KEY part of manic episodes
