I don't think people realize that she still isn't okay... Like real talk. Her accounts of things are still disillusioned. She's saying she wasn't going into mania until the cops came but the cops came because she was manic....

Her narcissism will not allow her to be the reason or fault. So it's the audience fault because they called the police. Then her story about Nick is completely wrong as it's literally all on camera.

Side note: hypomania can be just as intense as mania. It just doesn't last as long and doesn't include psychotic features. From what I saw, she was in a hypo-manic episode, that shifted to mania with religious psychosis. I'm saying this as someone with bipolar who has experienced psychotic features, although I am not a professional.

@@rosietheservant7857 Idk what to believe at this point and it's not my place to over analyze somebody else's life based on what they choose to share with their online community. She's clearly bipolar and anxiety plagues her mind. I see this as her attempt at finding herself and being criticized for sharing her journey. Personally, I would not choose to openly share my journey online but this form of sharing has been therapeutic for Gabbie and is something she is familiar with doing when being faced with issues that she is trying to fully process to herself. I feel I should also add that sharing her life so openly has been helpful and detrimental to her mental health. Such a double edged sword... She's definitely been growing into her own person though and should not allow negative comments to dictate how she values herself as a person. What has led you to feel justified in self-diagnosing Gabbie as a Narcissist? Unfortunately, I am very familiar with Narcissistic people and their patterns of behavior. I am not claiming to be an expert by any means. I am just very interested in understanding your diagnosis based solely on Gabbie's behavior online during a manic episode.

@@Courtney_Blake like you, I'm very familiar with narcissists and I would absolutely call myself an expert in being able to call them out, not an expert on dealing with them because the truth is I am a narc magnet and still struggle with becoming a supply for a new narc and struggle with being no- contact with the many narcs in my family. I do want to point out something in the big picture of what you rightly said about Gabbie using the internet as therapy. She has grown and become her truer self through sharing her journey online. Like you said it's been both detrimental and some good has come from it. I will like to add the very important caveat to GH and anyone else using the internet as therapy: it affects the millions of people watching. The amount of people she triggers into their own mental health issues versus those she helps is extremely disproportionate. So much so that in my opinion, she's doing more harm than good at the expense of her own well-being. That is what a narcissist would do. Narcissists are very easily spotted if you know what to look for. -Does this person have an inflated sense of self? -Is this person self centered to a degree which everyone else can see is wrong but when you point it out they absolutely can NEVER see what you see and in fact will blame-shift and manipulate until people are on the "right" side (their side) -Does this person accept responsibility for anything they might've done wrong? If not, do they find or often make up a narrative and spread it far and wide until nobody "challenges" or calls them out? -Does this person have problems keeping relationships long term? -Is this person always either the victim or the hero and nothing in between? -Does this person use their ability to twist and turn people as they want in order to gain the upper hand or get what they want? This is off the top of my head at 1:32 am and I just had a few whiskeys and I am not a drinker at all. If I remember I will come back to this post and use the actual DSM traits that identify a narcissist and define GH in those traits with examples. I do hope that this answer is sufficient for now

@@rosietheservant7857 Oh my goodness... as I mentioned earlier, I am familiar with Narcissistic behavior. My mother and sister and brother in law as well as the biological father of my child are narcs. I have had to distance myself from them and get protection orders from the court just to make them realize that they can't control my life to spread their false narrative. I am so interested in hearing more from you on this subject. I also agree that GH's behavior is triggering to fans and she doesn't hold herself accountable for what she is doing.

Clearly she is struggling mentally, but what she is saying about feeling even more triggered by police presence during a mental breakdown, and expressing that police aren’t equipped to handle these types of incidents… is incredibly valid. The situation she described is not fair to her or the police and it’s shining light on a much larger systemic issue.

Weed and another psychoactive, and psychedelic drugs can definitely trigger psychosis. It's more common amongst those who have psychiatric disorders such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. As healing as marijuana can be, it's the psychoactive chemical (THC) that can destabilize people like us. Everyone wants to advocate and destigmatize mental illness until it’s in their face. I have had several people in my life with BPD, Bipolar, autism, adhd NPD, ASPD and varying degrees of psychosis. I have learned the skills and boundaries necessary to deal with and support people in these states. I get your point. The thing that exarcerbated it all was the use of social media, in this case Tik Tok. To have so many fans (no real friends, no real family members) enquiring, making comments... just fed into the chaos. To have so many police officers doing wellness checks so many times, I'm not sure it really helped. To get so many new subscribers as it has been reported will just reinforce the behaviour. And the thing about the fan... I am not sure if it is hilarious, ridiculous, dangerous, creepy, crazy or everything at the same time. But she let him inside his mansion, and then he danced and laughed aroundd with him.

People who experience a true manic episode can have a very strange perspective on events that took place. A lot of the time, memories of the event can be incorrect, disillusioned, or otherwise skewed. I think it's very likely she is afraid and confused over this situation. I think her view of this situation is very different from the events that actually took place. I also don't think allowing a stranger into her house was any reason for a wellness check. People not experiencing a manic episode allow strangers into their homes all the time, and no one calls for a wellness check on them. Gabbie wasn't a danger to herself or anyone else, and people on the internet that have no perspective on the situation should NOT have called the police on her en masse. Just leave her alone, dude.

Finally someone pointing this out. My dad is bipolar and his manic episodes are highly abusive, mixed in with his very rampant narcissism. He'll trash whatever he believes isn't to his standard and he'll belittle everyone around him, taking the grandiose ideas in the direct that he's the smartest person on the planet and is a God that must be worshipped. After he comes down he'll always apologize and give typical gifts(flowers, cheap jewelry, etc). It always feels so forced and wrong because just the days before he had been gaslighting your existence. I'm not bipolar but I was prescribed Buspar once. Within a week I had realized I was in a medication triggered manic episode because I had grandiose ideas that I absolutely needed to help everyone. I did not stop Journaling my grandiose ideas on parts of the brain we should be focusing on, my insane ideas on what the function of dark matter is, and as gabbie said, how mental health might actually be a heighten spiritual connection but it's labeled because everyone is just scared. Long as shit ik, but I really needed to get my point across that manic episodes should NOT be labeled completely as bad, because it sure as hell may be an easy way into someone's true intentions with their life and no one is talking about that. Like I'd honestly love to share every detail, cause I really spent almost all my money on gifts for everyone 😭😭. My manic episode enlightened me to know I will never be as horrible as my parents, so please can we talk about the good little tidbits here

She's wrong about not being able to adopt as an autistic person: "Adoption is a process in which children become full and permanent legal members of another family. Determining eligibility to adopt is based on a process of mutual assessment and preparation by the prospective adoptive parents and social worker or agency, called a home study. Most people are eligible to adopt, regardless of whether they are married or single, their age, income, or sexual orientation. Having a disability does not automatically disqualify a prospective adoptive parent. Some countries have specific requirements and restrictions for families who want to adopt from those countries. Faith-based agencies may also have specific requirements for families adopting through their agencies." -Child Welfare Information Gateway

I have compassion for anyone who is suffering from any mental health issues. Many people say they support people's struggles and then someone goes through a public breakdown. We've seen Britney, Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan, Wendy Williams, etc... All have public struggles with mental health (sometimes substances are involved but I think they're self medicating). They've gotten support, however they're also made fun of, ridiculed and taunted. I saw so many people who were questioning the validity of Gabbie and was there intent or an agenda. These people got dragged harshly for being skeptical or unsure if she was just gaslighting people. I can understand why they had their doubts because idk her from Vine, I only know her for the numerous fueds and drama with other KZbinr's. Idk if she truly went through a public manic phase but her sister said, "they're doing everything that can be done". I just think she should take a break and work on herself because if she was having a legitimate mental health crisis? She really needs help. If she was faking it for attention and views to promote something? She really needs help.

Bottom line she’s scared. I feel for her and it’s heartbreaking to watch it happen from an outside POV. I experience very intense ups and downs because of my own mental problems and I can see myself in her. I also got made fun of and lost a lot of friends because they saw me as “crazy” but I just needed help. I still do but I’ve learned how to help myself, it doesn’t always work but sometimes nothing does. And you have to accept that, and that’s extremely hard and uncomfortable to do. It’s a terrifying feeling to think you have no support, even if you do, the mental illness makes you believe you’re alone in your suffering. To feel this indescribable fear of impending doom from panic attacks. The shaking, the nausea. The mental anguish can get so bad it affects me physically. Mental health is just as important if not more than physical health. It determines how you perceive life. And if you’re scared of life it’s not living, it’s surviving.

I can't imagine anyone knows what 'social media fandom' is ever really going to entail- until they are in it. The American mental health system needs enormous revision- people avoiding certain diagnoses due to future discrimination fears. The police are a whole other issue. And this is a human who presumably has no financial barriers. It really makes you wonder about those who are less privileged. I actually believe her when she says, she didn't orchestrate this for financial or promotional gain. I don't necessarily believe her about not having had her ADHD medication since last year- and wonder if she has been abusing those med's- while smoking too much weed... became sleep deprived- and enjoyed the mania a little too much. It happens. All the best to her and everyone else who is facing mental health and addiction issues 💔😭

You're the ones who choose to watch/digest those things afterwards. It's also hard to judge others intentions. Was her mental break convinently near a new release? Now I don’t support Gabby Hannah but as somebody who is on medication for a mental disability, people not wanting to rely on drugs and things to help them is completely valid. She’s planning on going to therapy to help these recent episodes and she’s already gone to therapy before so she’s still went out of her way to get help. Overall, medication isn’t the only path to treatment for mental disabilities. Also I don’t mean this to hate, just to educate :)

I think what she meant by that was, if the guy was planning on doing something criminal while in her home, his fingerprints are literally on her stuff now, plus she has him on video. In hindsight, i'm sure she realizes he was mainly just a troll, but she was explaining her thoughts in that moment, which were coming from a place of confusion and fear. She doesnt think shes a cop, she was just, rightfully, terrified, and those were the thoughts whirling through her head

“Weed is like my LSD” How can you compare your high to both shrooms and DMT if you haven’t tried either?
@silentfriend369

Weed can have a very similar effect on the brain to psychedelics. Both have the potential to "open the mind" to abstract concepts, drawing parallels between things others unconnected by the mind when sober. Interestingly, one can also enter this particular state of mind when practicing meditation.

@Cloudy NS yes, I know. My point remains, if you have never tried a drug how can you make a comparison. Gabbie said “I have never done any other drugs,” and then proceeded to make that comparison. If I’ve never tried cheesecake I can’t compare things to it.

@@esseaem1451 You can compare it through the knowledge that others have given... I don't need to have done lsd to know what effects it gives to people. Several factors can play a role in the same things, it can be previous experiences and also recent mindset and belief and also edibles and also being harassed by cops and also someone lying to get into her house and more that together all lead to the state she was in, sure maybe she's lying and everyone with this big a platform probably has more power than they should but she's also still just a stranger you have more information about than an average stranger none of it has to be black and white

Common chimpanzee players are extremely territorial and often wage ruthless organized wars against other clans. Also human players may not be stronger, but we put those evolution points into intelligence, bipedalism, and dexterity. Human players are the only non nerfed great apes that can swim or throw with deadly force and precision. Also our sweat technique is unique to only human players and allows us to recharge our stamina without having to stop moving.

She was either faking the whole thing, her memories would NOT be this vivid, or she’s trying to fill in the spots herself… a lot of her claims about what she did and what she was thinking on camera in reaction to the guy who came in or the cops does not actually seem to be how her thought process was happening…. If you look back on the videos, she claims here to be completely coherent just “manic” but she so clearly wasn’t. She’s talking about it like she wasn’t acting completely estranged and like she was thinking totally logically. It’s so weird

She should also not be smoking pot… she seems to have some sort of psychotic or delusion disorder on top of bipolar. I’m bipolar, I’ve never experienced a manic episode like this… my sister is 2 years younger than me and she’s got schizophrenia and how gabby has been acting reminds me of how my sister acts when she’s in a psychotic episode and hasn’t slept in days. It’s probably the weed that triggered it for gabby but idk it’s obviously worse than mania. I literally have dealt with bipolar for so long and I’ve experienced insane manic episodes where I’ve destroyed my life and made such horribly impulsive decisions it totally messed me up for my whole future. But I’ve never ever EVER gone totally 100% delusional like this.
