That Stalder 1/1 + Downie + Pak combo is amazing to look at!

I know there is a lot of argument about whether Douglas holds up against other world champions and especially other Olympic champions and stuff, but watching her 2012 Olympics beam and floor routines live were absolutely the moment that made me love watching gymnastics, and honestly just, showed me how strong women could be as a whole when I was like 12 years old, which is something I desperately needed. I love her so much, and have such an emotional connection to her, and 100% believe she can still go. That healy-ling looked really good, her back with a full still looks golden 12 years later, and so does her double layout (though I can't remember if that's new or if she always did that). 3 Olympic Golds, and I wanna see her legendary career shoot forward.

She is training very hard still so i think she has a lot of chances on winning some medals as her technique has always been very good

SO many were convinced she’d make the 2024 team and that she’d have a 5.8+D floor. I can’t understand why they thought it would happen

What is the difference between a Healy and a Ling?
@captainbryce111 сағат бұрын
Mostly a difference in grip entry. Also a Healy is a spin on one arm. A Ling technically requires you to release both arms and regrasp so it’s more difficult. It happens really fast but you can see this if you watch them in slow motion.
