The victim is sitting in a police car, at which point was she prevented from calling her parents and asking them to come get her or that she wanted to go home? Never. She could have done this and told police she didn't feel safe with her boyfriend . She could have saved herself and ended the toxic relationship then and there. This couple had no kids and weren't married. Too many women stay in these situations and many are killed. It's all very sad. smh

Victims of Domestic Violence/Domestic Abuse like Gabby, are not always just able to leave their abuser. There are many times like this one, where the victim is scared of what would happen to them if they attempt to leave their abuser and are caught by them attempting to do so.

I agree, It’s extremely tragic and sad what happened to Gabby 💔. Gabby was 22, not in her Teenage years. She would be 25 if she were alive today 💔. Gabby and her parents not knowing that she was going to be murdered is not Gabby’s fault or her parents fault. If Gabby’s parents knew what was going to happen to Gabby on her cross country trip, then they would have stopped that from happening obviously.

And her "grieving" family takes advantage of another opportunity to make money. The Petito's are more despicable than anything the Laundries are accused of as they squeeze every dime out of this case. Next up: 50M because the cops didn't arrest Gabby's victim.

the boyfriend, aka murderer, was a typical pampered little prince who could do no wrong in his parents eyes...I blame the parents because they raised a sociopathic little creep and even after murder, assisted him to get away in his own way, not facing punishment....coward parents, coward son.....I save some wrath for those two cops who yucked it up with brian while the abused Gabby sat there crying.....if only they had done their job...

Brian was coddled by parents it seems but Gabby chose that relationship and had opportunities to get away from Brian a few times and yet chose to continue the trip. She was alone in the van after the police separated them. She could have fled away from him in the van, called her parents and they could have come to get her. Also, when Brian flew to FL to "clean out a storage unit" Gabby was alone in a hotel for a week. She supposedly texted with her mom almost daily and yet mom didn't sense panic or didn't fly out to get her. I feel for her parents loss but they just seem to want to keep making money off of her death... just my opinion.

@jovitarucb7078 Gabby was the victim of domestic violence at the hands of Brian and he also murdered her on their cross-country trip. And about 15-16 days after that was the Moab PD Pullover, where she had marks on her face and arms that he caused. She was the victim, he was not. They were not abusive to each other. He was the only abusive one in their relationship. Her parents are advocating for justice for domestic violence victims and homicide victims like her who suffer a similar fate, and they are also advocating to stop things like that from happening to others. So no, they are not motivated by money.
