Having a really ruff high risk pregnancy this go around and my husband has been my rock even though I see him breaking down on the couch when he thinks I'm asleep in bed. I had one of the good ones. We were married for 44 years, and he passed away from a widow maker heart attack last spring. I wish I had told him how much I appreciated him more; I wish I'd not taken him for granted. My best advice to anyone who has a good one is to express those sentiments and don't expect them to be there from now on. Make sure you say all the things you should have said if they don't make it to tomorrow.

If you believe IN CHRIST JESUS everything comes out for the good ,I lost my leg when I was only 18 and about 7 years ago I took a horrible fall in my home and it blew out my good knee and my lower back and it put me in a wheelchair, with GOD and a loving man we can do anything !! My Mom died and a careing man wouldn't give up on her. He worked on her 30 minutes and saved her. My Dad never gave up either. I'm beyond happy to say that she is getting better every day with Dad's help. He has always been one of the good ones. O, and I also married a good one.

Beautiful song and video! My husband and I have been married 34 years. He became a paraplegic before our 4th anniversary. While we went through his injury together, I could easily see myself falling in love with him had he already been in a wheelchair when we first met. He’s my person in this world and no one and nothing (like a wheelchair) could change that. Love knows no boundaries! We are all worthy of love and having “good ones” in our lives. Don’t settle for anything less. Your person is out there too.

I’ve been with a man for 5 and a half years and even with my spina bifida things have been relatively smooth sailing until recently, our lives have been more hectic with appointments and things but even after working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week he still finds it in himself to be there to take me to appointments and be by my side, I never thought I’d love him more but through all our trials he’s shown me what love really is.

When I met my husband, he was going through the worst part of Chron's disease, he was severely underweight, could barely leave the house and had to wear a colostomy bag after having over a third of his intestines removed. Today 4 years later he's so strong and healthy and doesn't need to wear his bag anymore, and I'm so happy I took a chance on someone without seeing them at face value because he's one of the good ones. He's literally my hero.
