Parks and Recreation, thank you. Thank you for making me happy in life. When I am sad, I watch Parks and Rec. And the part when they do this song, it made my eyes water. And it made me see how beautiful life really is. And I realized that my life is worth it. The part when April and Andy were looking at that sight, I realized that life is amazing. Thank you Parks and Recreation. To make my life better.

This song is honestly so underrated it makes me sad. Very few songs come around that are powerful enough to give you chills and this is one of them. It breaks my heart that most of the crap people listen to doesn't ever compare to this, yet it gets so much more exposure.

LYRICSSSSS The new day dawns, And I am practicing my purpose once again. It is fresh and it is fruitful if I win, But if I lose, Ooh, I don't know. I'll be tired, but I will turn and I will go. Only guessing 'til I get there, Then I'll know. Oh, I will know. And all the children walking home past the factories Can see the light That's shining in my window As I write this song to you. And all the cars Running fast along the interstate Can feel the love that radiates Illuminating what I know is true. All will be well, Even after all the promises You've broken to yourself. All will be well, You can ask me how But only time will tell. The winter's cold, But the snow still lightly settles On the trees. And a mess is still a moment I can seize until I know. That all will be well, Even though sometimes This is hard to tell, And the fine is Just as frustrating as hell, All will be well. You've got to Keep it up, and don't give up, And chase you're dreams, and you will find, All in time. All will be well, Even after all the promises You've broken to yourself. All will be well, You can ask me how But only time will tell. You can ask me how But only time will tell.

@TicTacsOrange thanks so much for saying what i've felt forever! i cant imagine why it wouldn't be celebrated that such great music gets exposed to the masses, rather people would have it be enjoyed by a select few. Good music isn't whats appreciated by a few "cool" kids who happen to know it, its music that can hit a chord with people from many different walks of life.

Ctrl+F "Conviction" Corncornrocks and FFF813 are the only other ones who chiefly remember this from trailers for Conviction? The song just popped into my head today and I was like "What was that one show on NBC?" Speaking of failed NBC shows, anyone remember The Black Donnellys? Wikipedia doesn't list it, but the song from its commercials was "Lost" by Mudmen. Time to go listen to that now.

@Thvjr9 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Kosiba which song? I listen to a lot of Billy Joel but the closest song I can think of is And So It Goes
@scottripley2368 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Kosiba: All musicians are inspired by other musicians, who came before them. In fact, there's probably no such thing as any composition, which is truly "original." The Beatles were inspired by Big Bill Broonzy, and many others. Does that mean the Beatles "ripped off" the songwriters who inspired them? Of course not; that claim would be ridiculous. Are you a creative artist? I suspect you're not. Or, if you are, I suspect you (secretly?) believe your work to be somehow derivative. Calling this song a "Billy Joel Rip-off" shows a lack of understanding of creative process.
