He was out of this world, and yet it's people like him that make this world worth exploring. Changed my life forever. Thanks for sharing these little glimpses.

So heartbreaking to leave this earth so young. I'm sure he still had lots of music to give. My condolences to his family and friends.

Fuckin' legend, Gabe was truly someone to aspire to. I'm glad he was able to thrust so much of his energy into the world, it's a better place cause of him. The pure intuitive precision he was able to achieve isn't something learned although you can see his dedication in his work. I'm sorry to everyone he knew for this loss. His memory will live on strong in the hearts of not only fans but anyone with a respect for talent. Much love to you all

RIP Gabe. My favorite drummer hands down. Can’t believe he’s gone so soon. A special, and unique drummer that was incomparable. A real treat. In recording and live shows, the man’s playing was primal and also had machine precision. What a loss.

Such an incredible musician and a beautiful person. A truly profound loss. He was my musical hero through my teens and early twenties. I still can’t believe he’s gone. RIP Gabe

I will ways appreciate that when seeing them in Williamsburg in the early 2000’s, he puked over his drum set and a but splattered on me, I thought it was the most punk rock thing that ever happened to me. Thanks Gabe!

This album holds a special place in my heart and I'm sure I've shown it to more people than any other album/band I know. Seeing them on this tour changed music for me and is still the best show/performance I've ever seen. RIP Gabe, thanks for being an inspiration.

This is "Safety Second, Body Last" not plague soundscapes.... You can hear it through his headphones (monitor) in this video if you don't believe me. It would be awesome to see the recording session for plague soundscapes, I would guess they recorded plague soundscapes altogether as a band instead of recording Gabe's part separately. OP please change title out of respect for Gabe

Gabe plays the second track from Plague Soundscapes right at fifty seconds.
@sunlings Жыл бұрын
@@james_the_animator Right but this seems to be the recording session for Safety Second, Body Last? They hadn't written Safety Second, Body Last yet when they were recording Plague Soundscapes? I remember going to see them on the Plague Soundscapes tour and they didn't play any songs that were on Safety Second, Body Last at that point in time because it hadn't been written yet I'm assuming... The sound engineering of these two records is completely different so I'm 99% sure they weren't recorded during the same year.
