if you watched the game , JJ was quick to pull DLo and Gabe vincent. i think JJ knows he just needs to rest AR for some mins , thats the only reason why Vincent is in the rotation

13:18 JJ does not do the same shit. Lakers are running more set plays than they have in years. Top 5 offense. And have a defensive scheme that at least tries to help make up for having so many bad defenders. Wanna be pissed about Gabe, be upset with Rob. JJ has to play Gabe cause nobody else is available. Wood and Vando hurt. Max Christie is unplayable cause he can’t be use in actions cause he sucks when he has to put the ball on the floor and turns it over. Unless you want him running a 8 man rotation which puts heavier minutes on starters increasing chance of injuries

@ Gabe is the more usable of the team cause he can dribble enough to run set and plays. Which max can’t right now so he has to play. I’m not a fan of Gabe. I didn’t like when the lakers first got him, and would trade him in a heart beat. But for now he plays defense and can actually be used in plays. If wood or Vando was healthy then I would be upset Gabe is playing. Plus Gabe minutes has been dropping anyway. Ham had Prince playing more minutes than Bron and AD. Same for Dennis. No matter if they were having a good game or bad one

@ he can play d. He’s grades out so far this year as a solid defender on metrics. But I agree he can’t shoot for shit and his facilitating is poor. But to me still the best option available unless we wanna shorten the rotation to 8 players. Cause before max fell out the rotation his defense those last few game was not good at all. Giving up line drives to the rim. I don’t think playing either one of them will be good, but who else? Give Bronny a shot? At worst he matches Gabe production. Quincy, the lakers two way guard? He looked good in the g league and preseason. Roster desperately needs a trade
