Georgia is one country I really want to get to see and learn about! Thanks for showing us around - Tbilisi is a nice city, and the food looks great, too! I already knew that they have one of the oldest written languages in the world, and that it's history is fascinating! It's a MUST-SEE, for me!! I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from Georgia, and I'd love it if you could find a local to give you a tour, explain foods, customs, and how you the Georgian alphabet! Thanks for taking us along on your travels!

Welcome to Georgia! Btw eating Khinkali with fork is a crime. you should eat it with your hands. And Georgia is an ancient country, history of Georgia begins with Colchis and Iberian kingdom. Georgian alphabet is one of the oldest. Also Georgia has oldest wine making history yet found, wine jar from 8 000 b.c

From Wikipedia: The most widespread language group is the Kartvelian family, which includes Georgian, Svan, Mingrelian and Laz.[222][223][224][225][226][227] The official languages of Georgia are Georgian, with Abkhaz having official status within the autonomous region of Abkhazia. Georgian is the primary language of 87.7 percent of the population, followed by 6.2 percent speaking Azerbaijani, 3.9 percent Armenian, 1.2 percent Russian, and 1 percent other languages.[228][n 1] In the 2010, the United States federal government began the Teach and Learn English with Georgia program of promoting English literacy in elementary school. The goal was to import English speakers from across the world to ensure that all children in Georgia spoke English in four years and replace Russian as a second language.[

...And also, just in few more other details about Georgians (as from historian by education). Georgians in Caucasus, Etruscans in Italy, Corsicans in Corsica, Picts in Britain, Spanish Iberians in Spain and other Iberian/ Celtic peoples of Europe have same ethno, ethnic origin and represent Iberian race, Iberian, Ibero/ Celtic peoples of Europe, this is why all these listed peoples ( together with the originality of each of these peoples) also have similarities, identical in the different forms of culture, in folk music, dance, in ancient architectural style and so on. Also Georgians cultures of different historical times, periods are European ( together with their original Georgian cultures, influences with different European cultures, beginning from ancient times, influences with ancient Greek civilizations/ cultures, with Roman cultures, later with Byzantium culture, Catholic Europe and other European cultures during the history of Georgians, Georgia.), and of course all these historical things proven historically/ scientifically by World's, European (including Georgian) historians/ scientists, and this is why Georgians European/ Western way is absolutely naturally and historically right way to returning to their European roots, which means to returning their true Georgian roots in this South- Eastern, Caucasus region, where Georgia itself is located, and this is how the vast majority of Georgians consider themselves and their country. Sincerely, Alex.

It's a bit more complex, before Stalin there was Lenin... who created ..what essentially has become a Soviet Union. As for Stalin, he was a Georgian mobster, robbing banks and giving the stolen money to the revolutionaries in Moscow. Still... if you think that Russia was under a Georgian rule... you are wrong, read - 1921 Russian red army invasion of Georgia... it should be pretty clear.

I am also Georgian, from Georgia, and a historian by education, and like, before that I explained in these my comments under this video/clip, one more time, Georgia is a European country, Georgians are ethnic Europeans, that originate from the two oldest European ethnic groups, from the Iberians and the Kolkhians/Colchids. Georgian ancient culture, Georgian folklore and Georgian classical culture, Georgian literature, art and so on., are Georgian, but at the same time absolutely European. Georgia is geographically located in the Caucasus, but this part of the Caucasus is part of south-eastern Europe, it's like Balkan Peninsula, which also represents part of Europe, because, Europe itself consists of different territorial parts, including often from the Caucasus where Georgia itself is located and, therefore, from all here, from all these my comments, what I said is confirmed by the historical, history of science and life itself. Georgians, ethnically and culturally are Europeans and the overwhelming majority of Georgians who know the history of their country they also consider that Georgia is a European country and Georgians are ethnically European. As well as being Caucasian and at the same time European for Georgians is not a contradiction, it's like being a representative of some part of Europe, for example, being a representative the Balkans, Balkan Peninsula, but also being simultaneously European.

And after all I have said here, Tbilisi is one of the ancient European cities with its diverse architecture, specific architecture, but at the same time with all kind diverse European architecture, also, in Tbilisi there are places like old Tbilisi, where representatives of different ethnic groups have lived for centuries and still live, like Armenians, Azeris, and others who also speak Georgian and even sing Georgian, but this does not constitute Georgian culture itself, Georgian music itself, it's ethnocultural mix of one of the places of the city of Tbilisi, which is called “Old Tbilisi", Georgian culture itself, music, including Georgian melodies from Tbilisi, culture represents a completely different culture, Georgian culture, which is unique, but at the same time absolutely European(like other European cultures), which based on the Iberian-Kolkhian, Mediterranean origin of the Georgians themselves, has much in common with the Iberian and South-Eastern European cultures of European peoples. One of the closest ethnic group for Georgians are Corsicans and other Iberian, Iberian-Celt European ethnic groups. Corsican folk songs sounds exactly same as some part of Georgian folk songs and so on. Also in Georgia, including in Tbilisi, Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Germans and representatives of other European peoples lived and live for centuries. And also about the "EuroAsian" issue, even in the northern part of Turkey, geographically, is also part of Europe, Southeast Europe. Let's not forget the historical fact that for thousands of years, today's Turkey was the territory of the Greeks, the Greek kingdoms, Roman civilization, the latter of which was the exact same Byzantium, not to mention Georgia, Tbilisi, which, from all that has been said above, once again, geographically and culturally are part of Europe, south-eastern Europe, and the time is near when Georgia will be mentioned in the same "Wikipedia", as a country of southern-eastern Europe, not as EuroAsia.
