The software and the controller seem like they are a perfect match whereas most midi controllers work well with most DAWs but there are always a few minor things that might be missing or something. Hello Gabe. could you tell me why I would rather have this than my studio black? (studio black looks way easer!!)
@regend7623 жыл бұрын
Stick with the Studio Black. Unless you really gotta have the latest new software features. I still have the Ren and use v1.8 or MPC Beats.

I have watched many of your vids , they are as excellent as your finger drumming. Because I'm a complete newbie to this , I'm almost afraid to ask ,excuse me for mot knowing the correct terminology : did I think you mentioned that you were able to bring in some of your own samples into the software , is that correct? Because all I want to do with this is play some chord progressions add drums & my own sounds , like dialogue from old movies /etc. - chop them to play on the pads then stem it all out to my daw for adding my real instruments. If you can decipher this please let me know . stay creative .

Yep, you should be able to do exactly that. You can bring in your own samples, chop stuff, process stuff, play/record parts, there are even chord banks built in so you can load in an instrument or sample and then have one-pad chords. And then yes you can stem all that out, which I personally prefer to do for both MPC and Maschine stuff (in my case to bring it into Reaper).

Does the mpc software run as an AU so that you can use it inside your own DAW like Logic Pro X, or does it only work as its own DAW and so you have to use it for your entire production workflow?

Thanks for the review Gabe but I have a question or more a problem, when I download MPC beats Free it don't download right and zip file is around 600mb instead of 900mb. I have downloaded it 3 times and it's always the same and the zip won't even open and says it's corrupted. Any ideas Gabe?
@regend7623 жыл бұрын
What PC and what browser are you using? Try a different browser. Also, all you need is the MPC Beats program and your creative imagination. The sound packs are fluff and take up harddrive space.

@@regend762 I am using a Android tablet and crome, the sound packs downloaded without a problem and are the correct size. Maby I should tether My PC and download it on there. Prahaps Akia is looking for somthing within windows many a cookie and stops download?

I don't remember the model off the top of my head, but I'm running a gaming laptop. You can probably get decent low latency performance on something cheaper/lower spec, just probably fewer layers before you start to get pops and clicks.

Thanks Gabe. How would we change the note repeat value on the fly?
@GabeMillerMusic3 жыл бұрын
You use the touch strip for that, higher is faster and lower is slower.
