I've been coming back to this edit again and again this past month. I love how you display Camille's grief, the very thing that haunts the entire narrative, in a more sympathetic light with the help of this beautiful song, rather than a somewhat creepy depiction of it in the show (not that it's bad either!). Drawing parallels between the artist's own difficult relationship with his mother to Camille's, finding hope and light in his niece the same way Camille finds it in Amma, whose births come after the awful events that turned them to suffering, and showing that life goes on, and life can be beautiful (though now we know it's not really the case with Amma). Camille definitely did not deal with her grief properly, with her SH addiction being replaced with alcohol, her lack of reconciliation with her childhood, etc. And finally, though briefly, she finds peace with a new life with her sister, justice with her mother, and the friendship of the Currys added to the mix. Even though the ending no doubt sends her reeling back to the darkness, I truly hope the best for her, and that she may find that peace again. Thank you for making this edit, just know that even 5 years later it still reaches people's hearts!
