Gabon’s Ali Bongo Ondimba Calls 'on the World to Make Noise'

The president of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, is calling on the world "to make noise" to support him following his apparent overthrow by the country’s military.
Speaking under house arrest in his first public appearance since the coup attempt on Wednesday, the 64-year-old said he was under house arrest and that his wife was in a different place.
The message was conveyed in a video that was released on behalf of the President’s Office by BTP Advisers, a communications firm that helped the president with polling for this week's election.

What you have happening is the former military collaborators taking over from their civilian friends. The person who has taken over in Gabon's case is a relative of Bongo. A former member of his own security team. So the more things change the more they stay the same. And I can assure you, that some of these coups are sponsored with the help of Western collaborators. Things will unfold eventually.

French companies used to pay Omar Bongo roughly 7 Dollars per barrel that they would take out of the country, Gabon produced 233 K barrels per day from 1973 - 2023. The amounts of money stolen and stashed in accounts as far away as Canada. The Bongos amassed incredible wealth at the expense of their people, how did they think that could continue and the status quo remain the same.
