GABRA TRIBE KENYA | A rare interview on nomadic life, culture & heritage

I was humbled to have the opportunity to chat with a gentleman from the Gabra Tribe in Kenya and learn about their culture & heritage. The Gabra community predominantly lives in the North Horr part of Kenya. The community is predominantly nomadic and their main source of livelihood are the camels.
As a small Community, they are mindful of protecting their assets and it is important to point out that if you travel to this part of Kenya, please take time to engage the community and get their permission before taking any photos.

Yes true.also Hassano and Hussein are those born on Thursday as well. Our day start of Sunday. This are days of the week and respective name given to boys born on that day.
