Not really, production is horrible (not his fault) his voice sounds weird, switched many original aesthetics and not for the bettering of the interpretation. Yes its only half a step below (incredible considering everything) he is a great singer undoubtedly but better than the original is not there

It's not that I don't like Mariah but I honestly think Gabriel is better than Mariah. Mariah had vocal training by her mother who was an opera singer while Gabriel taught himself to sing.
