Hi Lady Luck , Good to see you back This is an Adele' song : " Set Fire to the Rain " Agree he is a Supreme Vocalist . And he did set Fire to that very difficult song to cover , like most of Adele'Songs . And I'd say that he puts fire to pratically all the songs he covers, he's so Good that they become his . Track or no Track he's so Damn Amazing that we forget that track as we're just so privileged to listen to such a Mesmerizing Voice . And he's so mindblowing with his stunning addings to all of his interpretations that;I must admit I mainly focus on them and less on the track . I guess that at the moment he doesn't have a huge prod team when he records those covers and hopefully things will change for him after AGT , whether he wins or not . The visibility he'd get from that Show would enable him , I hope and cross my fingers for it , to meet the right professionnals to launch his carreer . And for sure we'll get gorgeous tracks to the height of his Talent But for now we have to be satisfied with these tracks and I think that if he had made all his covers (about 300 on his channel) A CAPPELLA , I think it would not have worked for his audience !!! For a professional and informed ear like yours : YES. But " Let Me Tell You Something " I doubt that this is the case for most of his fans! Gabriel is mostly known on social networks : TikTok , Instagram and KZbin. The first two are mainly viewed by young people, even very young people . Most of the videos he posts on these networks are often shorts that correspond to this youthful audience often impatient. And " let me tell you Dear Lady Luck " , I doubt that this same public would have been satisfied with versions sung A Cappella by our Brillantissime Gabriel. Of course An Acoustic version ( Piano or Guitar ) would be Great . He has already done some, But only A Cappella Versions wil not make it in my opinion . This is my humble opinion as a novice in this field. I'm glad if we could exchange because I can see that this track story is very important to you !!!! In any case, you may know that Gabriel has put online just 24 hours ago a cover of Whitney Houston ; "Saving All My Love For You" But I won't tell you more ....................!!!
