My Twentieth Animation.
I've officially released more animations this year than all years before combined.
Cleansing one layer after another, machines march through hell, destroying everything in their path, consumed by endless hunger without any purpose. Following footsteps of the most perfect of them all - V1.
Striking down warrior of heaven once, machine meets him again deep within bloodstained palaces of Heresy. Filled with Perfect Hatred he is ready to raise his sword once more.
Child of God facing Child of Man.

​​@@myabogames um actually 🤓no, Gabriel doesnt start AT the cutscene already red neither does he slowly become red, instead, Gabriel turns red all at once when the fight actually starts, with the golden and crimson features of +ENRAGED, and then after this, he doesnt go "angel form" (since hes already an angel), instead he just goes manic, laughing at his own failure at defeating the machine, still going for the kill but laughing instead of screaming. TL;DR: Gabriel doesnt go slowly red neither does he go angel form, since hes already an angel, he just turns red instantly when the fight starts.

0:32 I LOVE the color contrast between V1 and Gabriel here. It's a very clever way to show their conflicting mindsets and moralites. The blue light emits from Gabriel because in the end, he's the actual good guy, as he's trying to stop the massacre caused by the machines. The red light emits from V1 because, simply put, they are no hero. They are no good guy. They only wish to slaughter everthing in sight for the blood that fuels them, and the lighting is an amazing way to show how different the goals and motives of these characters are.

Gabriel's monologue may be most people's favorite, and for good reason. But honestly my favorite line delivery by Gianni is that "NOTHING BUT SCRAP" at 1:00 . You can feel the unbridled hatred and anger Gabriel feels just from how forcefully and wrathfully he yells 'scrap'. Your animation is also really good, by the way.

Gabriel is such a cool character and you've portrayed him beautifully here, the way his fury manifests like a physical thing, cracking the walls and heating the space up, it's just straight perfection. All I can imagine now is you animating the full fight with "death of god's will" in the background and V1 just desperately parrying Gabriel's lightspeed swings

I like to believe that the red enemies that are enraged are detected as such by V1’s hud, not actually that they turn red, and then especially with boss bars, that it analyzes the creature and determines its classification and abilities, display the correct name, so now it displays Gabriel as the Apostate of Hate instead of the judge of hell, not because it knows that Gabriel is disconnected from the light, but because Gabriel is so hateful in that moment that it empowered him, causing his classification to change

Imo the part that just send chills to my spine is when he screams "MY HANDS SHALL RELISH! ENDING YOU HERE AND NOW!" the voice crack in the speech may make some think that it broke the vibe but for me it just gives even more depth like if Gabriel didn't screamed too much but he's ABSOLUTELY MAD at us and won't let that pass by again. Honestly I think a high resolution sequel to ULTRAKILL where you play as Gabriel slaughtering machines and getting your ass handed to you by V1 would be pretty sick. Killing the council would be like a level where you have to fight through heaven to get to them, fighting those who are loyal to the council and killing the council at the end. Obviously with act III yet to be out, we don't have the full thing fleshed out, so I can't say too much right now.
