Gabriel Medina, the 3x Surfing World Champ, headed to Lowers Trestles for a free surf session. With the Surf Ranch WSL event ahead of Medina, he decided to do some free surfing in before the contest. Medina showed up at Lowers with his coach Andy King. Medina ripped apart the 3-4 foot face surf with numerous aerials.

Hard to tell at 1:08 but looks like gabriel was thinking of going left and this guy wanted the right so gabriel just turned and goes right instead. Also its gabriel so maybe he just burned him

Yeah they both wanted to go opposite directions. The other surfer is ripper, Victor Bernardo. He was going right and Gabriel was trying to go left. They were all cool about it. Its packed Lowers so thats the mildest of miscommunications on waves.

The other surfer is Victor Bernardo. Another Brazilian. They are friendly with each other. They were trying to do a cross over but didn't work out with the wave. Lowers is insanely packed , so things like this are common.

they were trying to go opposite directions. Gabriel on the left and Victor on the right. Neither of them cared. Victor is chill and they are both brazilians and competitors. Packed Lowers is chaos sometimes.
