I was probably 10 years old when I first started listening to Howard and it sucks that the show has changed and mostly not for the better. In 2005 Interscope Records signed a deal with SiriusXM and it basically said that Jimmy Iovine can put his interscope artists on any channel whenever he wants. It forced Howard to have music guests he probably wouldn’t want if he had full control. He’s still got bosses that still tell him what say and who to listen to.

Jeff Foxworthy said that: when someone hears a southern accent they immediately deduct 50 I.Q. points, and taken as a whole, its not wrong. There are no Ivy League schools in the South (although some arent TOO bad), and there are few large metropolitan areas..and those there are arent exactly cultural meccas. Plus, a lot of southerners do it to themselves, really. They call their parents "mama" and "daddy" as long as they live, those who actually attend college cannot, as evidenced here, go ten minutes without feeling the need to advertise it. Social intelligence goes a long way, and you simply do not get it growing up in a rural area. Also, Howards digs at Keith didnt age well, did they? (no pun intended)..now that Howard is almost 70 and dying his hair and wearing skinny jeans.
