I was absolutely IN LOVE with Dominique Dawes when I was younger. Its nice to see she is still as beautiful as ever.

Listen Maurice, or Tim Stevens whatever your name is, you fake ass punk. All your HATE SPEECH will get you blocked from my posts. You have clearly developed a massive crush on me. You can message me anytime and maybe we could meet up. I'll wear a yamaka and we can discuss our differences if you would like. My guess is you won't cuz just like every other pussy that makes threats and harassing comments, as you have on a lot of my posts, you won't have the balls to confront me in person. You hide behind a keyboard and screen where you're safe. Step outside of your comfort zone and show me how to be a man. Or just keep on typing and I'll keep on smiling cuz clearly I've got under your skin. Every post you wrote shows what kind of person you are. Fake name with a lot of attitude. I just hope you get angry enough to come at me in person. I'd love to teach you a lesson or two. Have a nice day cutie pants. Stay awesome lover.
@konradhenlein663410 жыл бұрын
jrlockwood3- Of course you got under my skin, that's complete apparent. I'm wound up these days, and what I crave is debate, not careless arrogance. You decided to play your little games with me first by commenting on a post on that Kokesh board that had nothing to do with you. You sound like some young buck pickup artist who breezily snubs "angry" people, and I'm here to tell you that life involves more than leisure and girls, it's nasty out there, and America is fucked. I'm trying to get the message out there (and no it isn't always about Jews), and you're screwing with me. You may have your little cute pickup lines and your everything's cool vibe, but when the shit hits the fan, will you protest for freedom? Do you believe in anything outside of fluffy pursuits? Something to think about.
@jrlockwood310 жыл бұрын
You don't want to debate you want to spread your backwards, racist ideals and I think pathetic people like you are a joke. And all my comment was, was a playful blurb about you being a gangster of love. You're using the name Steve Miller. In the end you don't matter to anyone but yourself. And no I won't protest for freedom I'll fight for it. Trust me I'm much deeper than you and my thoughts and ideas about how to make this world a better place are too far past your limited mental capabilities for you to understand in the first place. Keep up your anti-semitic rants I'm sure they'll get you where you wanna be. But if you would like we could meet up for some fluffy pursuits, if you catch my drift. ;)

This is just wonderful, Dominique inspired so many black girls to take up gymnastics and now the torch has been passed to Gabrielle Douglas! Well done to both ladies for breaking down the colour barrier in gymnastics!

Gabby checks all the boxes: beauty, brains, personality, class, strength, pure talent/skill, mental toughness, willingness to sacrifice, confidence, determination, performing her best when the pressure is most intense, and wants to win for many reasons. What an inspiration this kid is.

Who could deny the sheer beauty reflected in the eyes of this mere child upon meeting her much admired role model. The genuine smile, wide eyes and cooing voice of Gabrielle is priceless. Dominique handled the interview with grace, knowing the impression of encouragement she conveyed would never be be forgotten by Gabby. What a wonderful gift if women of all colour could offer such inspiration to girls of the coming generations. From these come the true champions and hope for humanity

I think it is great that Gabby realizes that she is an inspiration to other young black kids that want to be gymnasts. IT IS HARD TO BE WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE!! The emphasis on her being a "black" gymnast is similar to Jeremy Lin being an Asian basketball player. Lin spoke about being overlooked by colleges b/c he was Asian. There are a lot of barriers when ANY PERSON is in a field where they are the minority (i.e. gender, physical disability, or other). Recognizing this will make us better!!!!

Life can be fun and hard as well, there are ppl that like and accept you, others that loath you and love to bring you down. I'm not surprised that Gabrielle Douglas has received praises and backlashes. THAT IS LIFE. I'm proud of her and she has greatly inspired me. I don't see a black girl (i am black too so that is irrelevant!)....I see a determined young girl who pursued her dream and never gave up...she persevered and now she has been rewarded for her hard work. I applaud her!!

Wow - just wow. After seeing that interview, I thought no one could come away feeling nothing but inspired and a smile. Someone said "SHE IS THE FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD" to win the all around in gymnastic who did not have European ancestry. So, her achievement is not only nationwide but worldwide. If she is ever unfortunate enough to see some of these hateful posts, I hope she will cling that she is a citizen of the world (in addition to being a citizen of the US).

She is just as cute as she can be! Few children REALLY know what they want to do and do it. She looks genuinely happy in what she is doing. If not she's a very talented actress. Many girls in this sport are pushed. What a wonderful role model she is for kids. Proving you can be anything you want to if you put your mind to it. And letting them know there WILL be sacrifices. Nothing is free.

Gabby has worked hard, she has a purposeful goal, and wants to open the road for others that have been told they could not do it. No matter how many pathetic, low life, insecure haters she has- they did not give her her gifts, and the haters cant take them. She has heart- that's something many are already missing. The same way every other race can be proud of themselves- African-Americans can and WILL do the same. We are/were athletes, warriors, craftsmen, the list goes on-& that wont change
