I didn't know the dance of 5 rythmes before tonight. I started to dance with blindfold eyes, I just don't understand what just happened to me. It was so powerful and magical, my body and my spirit was just one. Thank for sharing this.

@@emilystubbs5650 I just did this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXLCg5-Fr62fias It's a guided one so a bit easier to get into for newbies like us :) I also just finished reading her book 'the maps to ecstacy' highly recommend if you want to delve deeper into the rythms, they don't just apply to dance but also apply to our daily lives. Nahyr Gonzalez .. Solo encuentra videos en español donde expliquen de qué tratan los cinco ritmos y lo vas a entender.. Al principio es como un calentamiento para partes del cuerpo y después te va mencionando cada uno de los ritmos.. Pero es indispensable que comprendas como funcionan y qué hacen o como se hacen.. i'm just used to seeing youtube show with little yellow lines ahead of time if there are ads to come, so I was not expecting it. otherwise enjoyed this so much and i guess I should just download. I had the cd years ago. :D

Not sure what you are not understanding...the beginning is body parts: she says a body part and that body part is where to move...the percussion is there to inspire the rythmn of the movement....
