Tips For Dressing More “French” or “Parisian”

Hi, I really like your videos but as as 20 years old Parisian (born and raised) I can definitely tell you that the style that you call "Parisian" is actually call the "bobo style" (it comes from the contraction of bourgeois and bohème). Parisian women obviously (and I'm sure you know it since you went in Paris) wear a lot of different styles (streetstyle, BCBG, de la cité etc...) and they are still Parisian.

Oh yes, for sure! I actually lived in Biarritz and found this style to be more true in southern part of France as well. There’s no one way to go about this, all of my “ideas and rules” came from books and what I saw. Just giving inspiration to those who might not understand how easy it is to dress with a classic wardrobe, pulling most of my inspiration from Jeanne Damas ❤️

I tried on those jeans from sèzanne and in some ways I really loved them! I bet they look amazing on you :) I did find them to be less flattering than other jeans I’ve had, or maybe it’s just that they’re slightly more conservative (if you will) or a bit less sexy than stretchy skinny jeans or high rise/mom jeans. But I’d love a really high quality pair of jeans that make me feel and look more put together and sophisticated so I might invest in them and maybe I’ll grow to love them. for myself:my base is denim trousers. long jeans when its cold, denim shorts in hot summer. then I choose me tops: white/black silky top for parties, black t-shirt, linen shirt for everyday, or colorful "bahamas" top when go to beach/ pool/vacation. Everything goes with denim "Bottom". I'm not a dress/skirt girl but I have some linen skirt for summer for some kind of variety, barbeque party etc.

Great tips. However, after watching u-tubers who are from France they say that they do not wear prints. The only prints they might wear are stripes (Briton top), small polka dots only and that's it. The only colours they wear are found in "nature", no neon colours.Great video.

Not every French or Parisian is the same though, I take inspiration from many Parisian influencers. Pia_mbd has worn lavender that’s pastel, not neon❤️ I think of the brand sezane, rouje, and la semaine too(: I also lived in southern France and saw many different styles!
